Zaroffians[OV Brief 1] are a species from the planet Sangerosia.[OV Brief 2]
Appearance[]
Zaroffians are humanoids with turquoise skin, dark red sunken eyes, and gills under their cheeks. Their large lower jaws have teeth fused with the lips, similar to Detrovites.
Only a male Zaroffian has been seen, so it is unknown what females looked like.
History[]
Zaroffians have worked as miners, although due to Sangerosia's hostile and toxic environment, many lives have been lost. Only a handful, including Khyber, have escaped from the planet.[OV Brief 2]
Powers and Abilities[]
A Zaroffian has a very good physical condition due to the work of a miner that he performs: being able to run long distances, survive in extreme environments and have acrobatic skills to avoid possible attacks. They have enhanced strength, durability, and agility, as well as the ability to produce a whistly sound from their "gills."
Weaknesses[]
It is likely that Zaroffians are vulnerable to a Nemuina's sleeping dust.[1]
Zaroffians are vulnerable to electricity, such as that generated by a Cerebrocrustacean.[2]
Being a sapient species, Zaroffians can suffer from mental side effects if they were to use the Nemetrix.[3]
Notable Zaroffians[]
Etymology[]
The species' name is a reference to General Zaroff, a big-game hunter, from the short story The Most Dangerous Game.
Trivia[]
- The crew may have thought of a name for the Omnitrix's transformation of this species, but Derrick J. Wyatt no longer remembered it.[DJW 1]
