Vance Vetteroy is the Chicago weatherman that created S.A.M. in Monster Weather.
Appearance[]
Vance is a white male of medium height and in his mid-forties. He is partially bald, having brown hair on the sides of his head, and wears a wig of red hair with a curly forelock. His outfit is a yellowish collar T-shirt, a red bow tie and a belt attached to straps that go through the shoulders and go to the back of the belt.
Personality[]
Vance is an ambitious inventor who was bitter that S.A.M. was used as a gimmick by the news station he works for. After S.A.M. was destroyed, he resigned from trying to control the weather, and accepted his newscaster job.

In Monster Weather, Vance ended up causing S.A.M. to go haywire when he used it to make a rainstorm occur, only for purple lightning to strike S.A.M. and drive it crazy. He was then rescued by XLR8. He later tried to smash S.A.M.'s CPU with a pipe while it was incapacitated to make up for what he'd done, only to be captured by his own creation. Four Arms entered the battle at will.
After Ben made S.A.M. explode, Vance accepted he'll just have to be another "handsome face".
