I would like to start from the begining. I admit i was hooked into Ben 10 not from watching the original series, but after watching 'Alien Swarm' on tv. Ben looked cute, the action looked great. Being an anime fan, I love shows that deal with wierd sci fi themes so i got into it quickly, lauging at Ben's quirky happy go lucky attitude; annoying his cousin Gwen, the crazy situations they got into. Ben 10 Alien Force was enjoyable to me because It was an older ben, it wasnt serious all the time, there were several major plots. When they introduced Ultimate Alien, i was really excited because 1. Ben got the new Ultimatrix. 2. The new aliens and the Ultimate function making his exsisting forms from alien force stronger. Ultimate alien has been a bit more serious. (i mean, Kevin almost killed Gwen!) This 16 year old ben has a car now, more experience with the omnitrix itself and knows his responsibility a bit better than he did 6 years ago. I loved the development of the characters in Ultimate alien! (cooper growth spurt) Unfortunatly, we lost Dwayne Mcduffie in the middle of Ultimate Alien, but we got new fresh writers like Peter David (who i will always worship) And ok I'm still mad for what they did to Elena after 'Alien Swarm' (She was not evil to begin with! and shes the only latina character that i looked up to, being hispanic!) -sigh- Anyway, Mcduffie was a great writer rest his soul. But this new Ben in Omniverse? Really? I loved how Ben was brought into 'Generator Rex' with his re-design there. If anything, thats what I was expecting for this new upcomming series. Man of Action, you just shamed yourself with this new artwork. I will no longer call myself a Ben 10 fan when this airs. I will be too embarresed to. It was a good run for Ben, I will always be inspired by this show, so thank you for that. If you will continue watching no matter what, good luck to you.
