| Hello all! ( Note: When I speak about Ultimate Spidermonkey, I'm going to be using him as an extension towards all the Ultimates.)
The opening sentence for Ultimate Spidermonkey is "Ultimate Spidermonkey is the Ultimatrix's DNA sample of an Evolved Arachnichimp." It seems to be copied over from the normal aliens' articles, "Spidermonkey is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an Arachnichimp" and so on. But isn't that not correct? To my understanding, the Ultimatrix, in the moment of activation, takes the original Arachnichimp DNA and artificially runs it through the whole "battlefield simulation" crew statements have talked about. So the words "sample of an evolved Arachnichimp" seem weird to me, as if there are tangible samples of evolved species simply existing within the Ultimatrix like there are for the regular samples. The Ultimates are not the originals in that they are temporary, which is why I want to change how we word it. TLDR: I think we should reword them to something along the lines of "Ultimate Spidermonkey is the Ultimatrix's artificial evolution of Arachnichimp DNA." Some might counter with the example of Sentient Ultimates, how they were a tangible species of Ultimate living inside the Ultimatrix, but wasn't the whole point of them to be a glitch? That the Ultimatrix wasn't supposed to create them and let them continue on after they served their use? Another counter to not rewording it is that you'd be changing the page from linking to the Evolved Arachnichimp page to just the Arachnichimp page. Well the Evolved Arachnichimp link is still there, in the "Species" part of the infobox, it's just not front and center. You'd actually be linking to two pages instead of one. But this also brings up the question of if we should even have pages for the Evolved Arachnichimp, considering: they're supposed to be temporary; there's no extra information on their powers or whatnot that can't be found on Ultimate Spidermonkey page; and there are no other examples of notable Evolved Arachnichimps (except for Sentient Ultimate Spidermonkey, which can be linked elsewhere like the Ultimates' page or listed as a "Sentient Version" on regular Ultimate Spidermonkey's infobox). It seems it was added to match the regular page on Arachnichimps, but it doesn't make sense to me. But I digress, the issue to be voted on is outlined in the TLDR.
