However, Max states that he's always wanted to visit the Buddy Bungalow since he was a kid. They finally arrive, and they walk inside the building. Max looks around, excited. Ben begins to sing the "Tomorrow Today" song, and the house is then activated. A futuristic car drives up, and Max and Gwen gets inside. As they drive away, Ben transforms into XLR8 to chase after them. He gets lost in the house, and he notices someone working on something. As he runs over to them, it's revealed to be Steam Smythe. They begin to fight, by Steam Smythe manages to escape. Attempting to find Buddy's ultimate weapon. XlR8 continues to chase after him.
Meanwhile, Max and Gwen's vehicle enters a futuristic bathroom. The buggy begins to malfunction, but Max manages to find a way to steer it. Steam Smythe breaks through, with XLR8 behind his tail. Gwen notices it, and states that they have to help Ben. As they fight, Steam Smythe explains to XLR8 that Buddanski was a showman entertaining the drooling masses. Secretly, he was building a weapon - the M.F.B. Steam Smythe claims Buddanski saw a future of warfare and strife, and he built the weapon in secret in case it was ever needed. Steam Smythe escapes yet again. XRL8 follows him into a dark room. XLR8 spots Steam Smythe ahead, and attempts to run towards him. He notices that he's getting nowhere while running. Steam Smythe has captured him in a ball that acts as a turbine, providing energy for Steam Smythe. Smythe walks away and walks near a pod as Ben times out. Coincidentally, the ball opens up for Ben to escape.
Right before Steam Smythe hops into the pod, Ben jumps right in before him. Ben notices that everything is small, as if it was designed for a kid. He then remembers all of the stuff Max was telling him about, which made it seem like this place was designed for a kid. Steam Smythe, however, doubts that. Ben still believes that whatever Buddy built, it wasn't to hurt people. Ben activates the machine, and a robot is build our of the building. Steam Smythe breaks in and hijacks it Ben attempts to pull himself up from falling off the M.F.B. Steam Smythe is not impressed by this "weapon". Suddenly, a hologram of Buddy appears, explaining why he built it. It was because the US army asked if they can bring fun to them and their families. However, the idea never got anywhere because they decided to build tanks and bombs instead. However, he built it anyway hoping someone special will someday find it. Steam Smythe is angered at this new information, claiming that it's a "waste of genius".
Steam Smythe proceeds to use it as a weapon anyway. Ben transforms into Stinkfly to defend himself. Eventually, Steam Smythe accidentally hits the emergency escape after Stinkfly hits him with goo. Suddenly, Steam Smythe is ejected from the machine. His helicopter hat catches him, and he flies away. Afterwards, the Tennysons go on the M.F.B. to have fun.
