  • I don't understand, why would low level criminals still mess with Ben despite knowing that he has an Omnitrix? When Ben has the Omnitrix, he's practically a god, just like the Avatar, but more.

    • Maybe they're hoping they get lucky and defeat the great Ben Tennyson who saved the universe millions of times with a chapter and half required study of him at Plumbers Academy and an integalactic superhero and celebrity.

    • Why people says GOD to everybody who have power.Ben is not immortal and can be killed, destroyed, wiped out from time(as you saw in time heals, and than there was ben) His only powers come from his Omnimatrix.Yea Alien X is Omnipotent but it doesnt make ben all powerful or cosmic being or God-like.

Well technically as Alien X, he is not a God, but has kind of a godlike power and he is all powerfull as Alien X. You know, creating and destroying a universe. If that's not a godlike power then what is?

Well, why do you think the Rooters wanted to destroy him? Remember the finale where the Omnitrix saved him from death?

Ben is the most powerful being in the universe with the Omnitirix. He's probably more powerful than the Avatar, who is considered very much a god, so yeah, Ben is very much the equivalent of a god with all that power in his wrist. Same with Superman, he's considered a god in comparison to low level criminals

I even once asked why criminal gangs wouldn't mess with Avatar Korra, and here's the response they gave:

"And most villains shouldn't even want to incur the wrath of the Avatar. What does a gang have anything to gain by picking a fight with a God Incarnate? That's not profitable."

That being said, the same logic should apply to Psyohon's thugs, it's a bad idea for them to incur the wrath of a powerful being like Ben, and what would they have to gain from picking a fight with Ben?

    • Ben's not powerful, the omnitrix is, whoever is wearing the omnitrix is powerful, even Argit. Celestialsapiens aren't Gods either and Ben is just a human. They are powerful and Ben is skilled but they are not Gods. The omnitrix is a tech, Celestialsapiens are Omnipotent beings with Godlike powers but still not Gods, Ben is a Human, others are Aliens or Mutants. But depending on a show, they could have Gods. Some show has Gods, some doesn't.

I don't know if there is a God in Ben 10 but it definitely isn't Ben. If anything were to be considered close to being a God, it would probably be the Contemelia, but I don't think they are Gods either.

Let's stay on topic here. Why would low level thugs want to pick a fight with the most powerful being in the universe? What would they have to gain from it?

I once asked why low level criminals in legend of Korea don't tango with Korra. There they tell me that it's because she's so powerful, that it's a terrible idea to incur the wrath of the most powerful being in the world. I can understand that, so that leads me to ask, why don't the thugs in Ben 10's world see that logic? I feel like low level criminals are just so foolish enough to incur the wrath of a being as powerful as Ben 10. If I could say anything about how powerful Ben is, I'd say it's limitless, and not just because he has Way Big and Alien X.

    • Well Ben's Alien powers varies.

Like I said above they may be trying thier luck to see if they would would be lucky enough to take him down, Ben is the most famous superhero in his Universe, taking him down would give you the title of Being the most powerful supervillian that defeated Ben Tennyson.

Also Ben is a hero, a hero saves life but prefers not to kill (sometimes they do). With that in mind criminals would not fear him. And criminals are criminals, once they're used to what they do, they tend to keep doing it like Argit for example, he's been like that since AF.

Chadzmuth keeps defending them and the Plumbers keep losing to him.

Also it's a show (this maybe why)

OK, then how would anyone explain why Low Level Criminals DON'T mess with Korra in Legend of Korra? They tell me it's because they know it's a bad idea to incur the wrath of someone as powerful as the Avatar. How would anyone argue against that logic? Like you said, criminals are criminals.

Ahm because the creators don't want to? In Ben 10 technology is already so advanced that getting your hands on some weapons would give you courage to do crimes.

I don't know, haven't watch legend of Korra I just compare her abilities to that of the Avatars before her.

    • Because those criminals aren't looking to defeat Ben, they're just looking to make a quick buck (money). Not every villain's motivation is "destroy Ben Tennyson". Many just want to get rich. It just so happens that Ben gets in their way.

    • Or they try to resist Ben from thwarting their boss.

    • Same with Spider-man villain Shocker. He says he's not out to kill Spidey, even when another villain suggested it. He says he's out to make money and just needs to get past Spider-man. Killing a hero will bring the reign called down on you. I guess some guys can try to defeat Ben and get away, earning some street cred. Given his fluctuating power sets, you can stand a pretty good chance of doing it at least once.

    • So there. The basic premise of the question is flawed, because many low- level criminals don't try to mess with Ben. It's Ben who gets himself involved XD But that's what makes him a hero.
