Thep Khufan are a mummy-like species from the desert planet Anur Khufos. Some Thep Khufans live on Anur Transyl in the Anur System.

Thep Khufans are mummy-like creatures composed entirely of organic bandages made from an alien material that feels like old cloth but have elasticity.[DJW 1]

They are thin, humanoid-shaped with slight ape-like features on their limbs. They also wear Wadjet headpieces on their forehead, minus nose and mouth. Their clothing resemble that of the ancient Egyptians, consisting of dhoti -like garments on their waist, collars and two bandages dangling from their upper back. They wear golden cuffs on their feet and wrists. Their bodies are hollow, allowing them to store things in their chest. There are gaps between their bandages on their wrists, chest and ankles, as well as their eyes, that glow any color. They have a beak-like toothed mouth with a long tongue beneath their head bandages. Some Thep Khufans have bandages that stick out from their heads like hair, while others wear headdresses and tall hats that are somewhat similar to the Crowns of Egypt and the Nefertiti's Cap Crown.

Thep Khufans have thousands of tendrils stemming from their hard heads.[pop-up 1][1]

In Ben 10: Protector of Earth, a more powerful version of Thep Khufans is revealed, Cyclone Khufans. Their bandages are a blackish color, and their clothing are blue and gold. Their head resembles a gold headpiece, shaped like a bird's beak. It is unknown if they exist in the main timeline.

Thep Khufans live in deep, dark structures to keep themselves away from their planet's heat and wind.[pop-up 1][1]

Some Khufans sleep in sarcophagi, the more well off of them, anyway. The poorer ones can't afford them, so they are a kind of status symbol among the Thep Khufan wealthy elite.[DJW 2]

Powers and Abilities

Being composed of bandages, Thep Khufans can reshape their bodies at will. This allows them to split themselves apart to dodge attacks and reform to counter-attack. They can also generate more bandages for various needs. Additionally, their bodies are completely hollow, making them extremely flexible.

Thep Khufans can regenerate themselves and recover from many types of injuries, including being torn into confetti by a large fan, almost instantly.[2]

Thep Khufans can extend their bandages, from their fingers or from their body, creating a sturdy wall.[3] They can also sever the bandages they extend.

Although Thep Khufans are frail, they possess a degree of enhanced strength, allowing them to punch away a Squid Monster with ease.[4] Similarly, they can lift objects and people as big as a Segmentasapien with their stretchable limbs.[5]

A Thep Khufan's bandages are strong enough to ensnare opponents with even the combined strengths of a Tetramand and a Vaxasaurian.[5]

Thep Khufans are rather durable, as Snare-oh was able to withstand being thrown around by the Werewolf.[1] Their bandages can even withstand lasers, as demonstrated by Kuphulu.[6][7]

Despite being made of bandages, Thep Khufans are immune to the effects of water. As such, they can breathe underwater.[8]

Thep Khufans have a surprising amount of speed and agility for their size and bandages, even enough to scale walls and dodge attacks with relative ease.

By reducing their bodies down to single bandages, Thep Khufans can slip through extremely tight spaces or small openings, allowing them to escape various traps or maneuver through cramped areas before reforming afterwards.

Thep Khufans can break their body apart to create a pile of bandages to cushion a landing. Their face is separated from the rest of the bandages in the process.[8]

Like all Anur System species, Thep Khufans are immune to the effects of Corrodium and can see in the dark,[DJW 3] the former of which has been demonstrated by the Mummy.[2][9]

Thep Khufans can block out Corrodium radiation with their bandages, allowing them to carry the dangerous crystal inside their bodies without irradiating anything nearby, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[2][9]

Thep Khufans can survive in the vacuum of space thanks to their composition, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[9]

Thep Khufans can briefly levitate through the air, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[2]

Thep Khufans can train themselves to perform magic similar to Egyptian curses.[DJW 4]

When extending their limbs or other parts of their bodies, Thep Khufans become susceptible to strong winds and suction forces.[2]

There is an upper limit to how much tension a Thep Khufan's bandages can withstand before breaking.

Because they are made of bandages, Thep Khufans can be flattened by heavy objects, stopping them momentarily.[8]

Thep Khufans can be frozen solid by liquid nitrogen, as demonstrated with the Mummy.[2]

Thep Khufans can be tangled up in their own bandages, as demonstrated with Kuphulu.[6]

Thep Kufans can be controlled and hypnotized by Vladats via their Corrupturas, as demonstrated with Kuphulu and many other Thep Khufan residents of Anur Transyl.[7]

Thep Kufans can easily be scared by Toepick's species.[DJW 5]

Notable Thep Khufans

The name Thep Khufan is a combination of the Egyptian polymath Imhotep, and Khufu, a Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh.

  • Thep Khufans are the only beings who can handle Corrodium without special protection.[pop-up 2][9]
  • When asked if Thep Khufans can fling themselves up in the air by grabbing two surfaces, Derrick J. Wyatt said that they probably could.[DJW 6]
    • When asked if Thep Khufans can fold their hands like origami and shape them into weapons, similar to Petrosapiens, Derrick answered that they maybe can do so though it would be like hitting someone with a paper Mache boulder.[DJW 7]
