The Monster at the End of This Book is the tenth Ben 10: Ultimate Alien comic published in the Cartoon Network Action Pack series, published by DC and Cartoon Network. This comic appears in issue 54 of the series.
Plot[]
After defeating SevenSeven with Four Arms, Ben decides to get himself home so he can read a book he's been assigned before Monday's English test. Before he can do that, he sees a spaceship crash nearby, and the alien inside asks Ben if he could help him with the repairs. Using Nanomech, Ben is able to repair the craft and help the alien leave. After getting home, however, he immediately encounters a pair of Lewodans on his couch who are in a dispute apparently over one half of Lewodans not picking up after their pets. Ben manages to resolve the dispute, though it takes most of the night.
Deciding that he'll have to read it in the University library, Ben is suddenly blindsided by Kraab, who is defeated by Spidermonkey. Yet another interruption occurs when Kevin asks Ben to help him move a "Handcrafted Allerodian Symbolchord"; Julie cashing in on his promise to be her date to the Varsity Tennis Banquet; and Gwen bringing him along to look for a belated birthday present for Max (whose birthday was the previous week). Frustrated by all these annoyances, Ben goes out to a lake so he can read in peace and quiet. Unfortunately, before he can start, a massive alien monster bursts out of the water. Realizing that this was the creature Kraab was hunting, Ben turns into Humungousaur, and then Ultimate Humungousaur, knocking the monster unconscious with his missiles.
After denying a call from his mom, Ben finally manages to find peace and quiet onboard Plumbers' Research Satellite Delta. Of course, the second he starts reading, a massive asteroid is hurtling towards Earth...
For Ben? The Beginning. But for us? The End!
