The Electric Corpse is the Negatrix's DNA sample of a Transylian from the planet Anur Transyl in the Anur System[merch 1] and Nega Ben's equivalent of Frankenstrike.[DJW 1]

Appearance[]

The Electric Corpse has an appearance similar to the classic depiction of Boris Karloff's version of Victor Frankenstein's monster. The generators on his back aren't machines, but metallic-organic growths.[pop-up 1][1]

The Electric Corpse's hair is short, lacking bangs and a mullet, and has evident sideburns. His skin has several uneven seams, combining grayish white skin and bluish grey skin. He also has large pinkish-purple scars across his chest and right arm.

The Electric Corpse has purple bolts on his neck, shoulders, elbows, and back resembling a fathead screw with a grayish-purple light in the crease. His belt is purple with grayish-white stripes, which have bolts of the same color in them, and another bolt as a buckle. His turrets are purple with screws on them, and the coils are grayish-purple and feature grey bulbs at the tips.

The Electric Corpse's gauntlets are greyish-purple with bolts on their knuckles, his pants are a purplish-black color, and his "boots" are purple with three grey slits in them. His teeth are purple and uneven, and bear out.

The Electric Corpse's Negatrix symbol is colored gray and embedded in the flesh of his right pectoral, with several deep scars protruding from where it resides.

Powers and Abilities[]

The Electric Corpse has an electromagnetic body with two conductor coils on his back that allow him to generate and manipulate lightning and electromagnetism.[1] The Electric Corpse can conduct electricity generated by his metallic conductor coils throughout his entire body. Using this ability, The Electric Corpse can conduct electricity through his fists to give his attacks extra damage,[2] though he is unable to absorb or conduct electricity from external sources.[DJW 2]

The Electric Corpse can emit his lightning in the form of waves that can travel along flat surfaces.[3] The Electric Corpse can also shoot massive concentrated beams of electricity.[4]

The Electric Corpse possesses enhanced strength, as Frankenstrike was able to punch through a Techadon robot and knock its arm off.[5] He is also strong enough to carry an Appoplexian over his shoulders.[6]

The Electric Corpse possesses enhanced durability, as Frankenstrike was durable enough to withstand being blasted by one of Phil's electric blasts. The Electric Corpse also has enhanced reflexes, as Frankenstrike was able to dodge the same blasts easily.[2]

The Electric Corpse has enhanced jumping, as shown when Frankenstrike was able to jump and hold onto a high ladder when waiting to ambush Phil.[2]

The Electric Corpse is actually quite fast, as demonstrated when Lightning Volt was able to keep up with Rath.[6]

The Electric Corpse can survive in the vacuum of space.[1]

The Electric Corpse is immune to the effects of Corrodium[merch 1] and can see in the dark.[DJW 3]

The Electric Corpse is resistant against extreme heat, as demonstrated by Viktor.[7] The Electric Corpse is also resistant to strong winds, as demonstrated when Frankenstrike was able to hold onto a space shuttle when Viktor opened up a portal to the Null Void.

The Electric Corpse can emit magnetism from his hands or his feet, allowing him to attach to metal structures.[1]

The Electric Corpse possesses technokinesis, as Viktor was able to control cables with his mind. Lightning Volt can also merge with technology, as demonstrated when Viktor plugged the aforementioned cables into himself.[8][1]

Weaknesses[]

The two generators on The Electric Corpse's shoulders are the source of his electricity, which means opponents like Phil can absorb his electricity through them.[2]

The Electric Corpse is unable to fit through small or tight spaces.[4][3]

The Electric Corpse be harmed by external electricity, as shown when Frankenstrike blasted Viktor with a charge strong enough to send him flying into a Null Void portal.[1] Rook and Scout also used tasers to incapacitate Viktor.[9]

The Electric Corpse can be controlled and hypnotized by Vladats via their Corrupturas, as demonstrated by Viktor and many other Transylian residents of Anur Transyl.[10]

The Electric Corpse can be frozen in ice, as demonstrated by Viktor.[7]

The Electric Corpse can easily be scared by Fright Face's species.[DJW 4]

Etymology[]

The Electric Corpse's name is a reference to his undead body and electric powers. It is in line with the other pessimistic "emo" names Nega Ben gives to his aliens.

Trivia[]

  • Thomas Perkins believes that The Electric Corpse is capable of absorbing electricity.[TP 1]
  • Derrick drew The Electric Corpse as part of a GoFundMe in 2020.[DJW 5]
