Ben bristles at Gwen's suggestion that she become his sidekick, but when a music festival is threaten by Lord Decibel, Ben is helped by some familiar faces.
Plot[]
In Rio de Janeiro, Team Tennyson attend a music festival on the beach. While Ben is his usual self, Max takes on his "DJ G-pa" persona from the 80s, and Gwen dresses herself like a cat. She tries to convince Ben that her cat powers are equal to his transformations, but he shrugs her off. He tries to show off real heroics, and transforms into Slapback, accidentally destroying a sandcastle before repairing it. He reverts back, and Max joins the two. He compliments Gwen's costume, calling it adorable, but that angers her, and she storms off.
In the woods, Gwen practices her cat attacks, before spotting some capybaras. She follows them, and finds two men practicing their martial arts to some music played by others. One of them introduces themselves as Adolfo and Garan, practitioners of Capoeira. Gwen asks them to teach her, and they agree.
Back at the beach, two sharply-dressed men appear before the crowd. They introduce themselves as Bass and Treble. They hype up Lord Decibel, who rises from the sea along with his equipment. While the crowd parties to his beats, Max tells Ben to stall while he gets the Rustbucket for his own DJ equipment. Ben confronts Lord Decibel's minions, and they reveal they have sound equipment similar to their boss. Ben transforms into Heatblast to fight the two, while Lord Decibel negotiates a ransom with a diplomat. In the woods, Gwen continues to improve at Capoeira. They see a burst of sand in the distance, which turns out to be Heatblast and Lord Decibel's henchmen. He struggles against them, until he sees Max arrive in the Rustbucket. He activates the DJ system in the vehicle and announces his presence.
Lord Decibel uses his system to summon two massive serpents made out of sound. Max plays his music, destroying them. Lord Decibel retaliates, creating three more serpents. Gwen arrives on the scene, confused as to what's happening. Treble and Bass try to finish off Heatblast, but are both caught in a heard of capybara. Gwen catches them off-guard, quickly taking them on with her newfound skills. Bass and Treble launch a counterattack, but Gwen is protected by Heatblast. The two each take on one of the henchmen, defeating them and throwing them into the sea. Heatblast reverts back to Ben and the cousins celebrate, while the henchmen swim out to a disappointed Lord Decibel.
Max, meanwhile, summons a muscular dinosaur made out of his own sound. Lord Decibel counters with two draconic serpents, and the monsters clash. Gwen comes up with the idea of Ben uses Humungousaur to create the ultimate shockwave, and once Ben transforms, she gives the signal to him and Max. Humungousaur unleashes a shockwave, giving Max's dinosaur the upper hand and casting Lord Decibel further out to sea. Adolfo approaches Gwen, and rewards her training with a cord. Ben apologizes for doubting her skills. At the remains of Lord Decibel's set, Bass asks if they'll go on tour, and Lord Decibel fires him. Back on the beach, Max continues to play music while Ben and Gwen banter about Gwen's "DJ name".

When introducing Lord Decibel, Bass and Treble have a crowd behind them and are facing away from the sea. When his set emerges from the water, they are facing the sea, and there is no crowd in front of them. This is reverted in the following shot.
After Gwen puts on her cord, it is missing from her waist in the next shot.
