The Sword of Ek Chuaj was a legendary Mayan weapon, known to be "the most powerful and destructive weapon ever created".[1][2]
Appearance[]
The Sword of Ek Chuaj is a black and gold Aztec sword. It has a black rectangular hilt with two grooves and gold veins ending with a (what appears to be) serpent’s head with red eyes in place of the pommel and has no guard. The blade is fitted into the top of the hilt and is shaped as a flat golden shard with jagged edges and its most prominent feature is its bright golden aura capable of illuminating an enormous underground chamber.
Function[]
The sword was alleged to have the power to level entire cities with just one swipe. However, this was just a myth,[pop-up 1][2] despite its guardian.

The sword was accessed by means of the Mask of Ah Puch, which acted as both a key and a map to the temple in which the sword was kept.
The Mayan god of death, Ah Puch was assigned to defend it at all costs from thieves.
In Ultimate Weapon, Enoch of the Forever Knights located and reclaimed the Sword, but it crumbled to dust due to its advanced age, much to Max's delight.
