Survival Skills is the third Ben 10 short.

Plot

When Ben unwittingly puts out the campfire needed to roast marshmallows, Ben must start the fire again without using the Omnitrix much to his displeasure. After many unsuccessful attempts, such as rubbing against rocks and hurting his knees, Ben uses Heatblast to light the fire but Grandpa Max and Gwen come back and Ben is still Heatblast. Heatblast hides up a tree but the branch that he's on colapses in front of Grandpa Max and Gwen. Heatblast is told off for using the Omnitrix and then Heatblast is used as the campfire until he can light a new one (again without using his powers).

(Ben rubs rocks against each other then hurts his thumb) Ben: Yeow! (pants then throws rocks hurting his knees) Yah! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! (growls, then turns on Omnitrix) What Grandpa doesn't know won't hurt him.

Trivia

• Heatblast tries hitting the Omnitrix symbol to go human, something that Ben perfects in Alien Force.
