The Sub-Energy[merch 1] is an alien energy source that first appeared in Ben 10 vs. Negative 10: Part 1.
Description[]
It is said to have the energy to destroy an entire continent if mishandled. It even makes nuclear power plants look like wind-up toys in comparison. The energy source is kept in a spherical container.
It is said that the Sub-Energy is 20 times more powerful than the Sun itself.[1][2]
History[]
Background[]
Originally, it was given to the Plumbers of Earth sometime in the past as a reward by grateful aliens, for capturing an alien fugitive. Despite the good the Sub-Energy could do for mankind, it was deemed too unstable and dangerous to be used and locked up at Mt. Rushmore.
Ben 10[]
In Ben 10 vs. Negative 10: Part 2, Sir Driscoll managed to steal it and equip it to his Power Suit. With it, he was able to empower himself, but Perk Upchuck ripped it off and used it as an attack aimed at the sky, while accidentally destroying the presidents' faces at Mt. Rushmore.
