The Star Child[script 1] is the baby of the Mother Celestialsapien.
Appearance
The Star Child, like most Celestialsapiens, is humanoid, with three horns on their head, and small white dots all over their body, giving them the appearance of the night sky. They are curled into the fetal position, and float in an egg-like bubble.
Personality
The Baby isn't developed enough to have multiple personalities yet, which is the reason why Aggregor wanted to absorb their powers instead of a full grown Celestialsapien's.[DM 2][DM 3]
History
Ultimate Alien
The Star Child only appears in The Forge of Creation. Ultimate Aggregor planned to absorb their powers to gain omnipotence, although Ultimate Kevin managed to stop him. This child Celestialsapien had not developed multiple personalities yet.
Powers and Abilities
They have the powers of any Celestialsapien.
Weaknesses
Since the Baby wasn't born yet at the time of their appearance, they're completely defenseless, enough so to risk getting their powers absorbed by Aggregor.
Appearances
Ultimate Alien
Season 2
- The Forge of Creation (first appearance)
Season 3
- The Ultimate Enemy: Part 2 (flashback; cameo)
Trivia
- The Star Child's name and design are a direct reference to the "Star Child" in the 1968 epic film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Notes
- ↑ There has been much debate between fans as to if Celestialsapiens are to be considered omnipotent or nigh-omnipotent. Given that literally any thought of a Celestialsapien can be converted to reality, by definition Celestialsapiens are all-powerful and thus are omnipotent. Furthermore, Celestialsapiens have been stated to be omnipotent by Azmuth and Professor Paradox,[1] as well as by crew members such as Dwayne McDuffie[DM 1] and Matt Wayne.[MW 1] While their physical forms do have weaknesses, they can be eliminated at any moment by a resolution of their personalities. Their actions being reverted by other Celestialsapiens, and them being harmed because of the time it takes for the personalities to agree to defend themselves is a practical limitation on Celestialsapiens. In theory, they have all possible power, as there is no thought that cannot be converted into reality. Yet, due to the aforementioned limitations some consider them to be nigh-omnipotent. The discretion is left to the reader to decide which category to put Celestialsapiens in.
