The Sonic Pitch Whistle is a device that transmits waves of sonic frequencies.
Appearance[]
The device appears as a grey-colored remote control with two antennae at the top, which are the source of the sound.
Function[]
When activated, the device starts to constantly emit waves of loud, high-pitched frequencies. These frequencies could be used to subdue creatures with higher hearing ranges, such as Vulpimancers, and are "the only way to bring down" them specifically.[1][2]
History[]
Ben 10[]
In Truth, Phil uses the Pitch Whistle to subdue the two Vulpimancers that he staged for the Tennysons to find, and by proxy, also subdued Ben as Wildmutt. The tool was effective for a short time, and allowed them to catch their breath, however, they stuck around the reeling Vulpimancers at their feet, and one of them managed to knock the device out of Phil's hand and crush it under its foot.[2]
Max mentions him and Phil having taken down similar (likely the same) Vulpimancers years ago.[3][2] Given context, though not confirmed, it was also accomplished using the Pitch Whistle.
FusionFall[]
In the game, players can get a sonic pitch whistle as a weapon. It also comes in deluxe versions so you can have a more powerful weapon.
