Solar Twain is a criminal scientist working alongside his twin brother, Polar Twain.
Appearance[]
Solar Twain wears a gray suit with orange parts similar to that of an astronaut. He has two large gloves on his hands that allow him to control the magnetism and two tanks on his back connected to his suit and gloves. On his chest, he has a bright plus sign (+).
Personality[]
Solar Twain tends to compete and fight often with his brother, Polar Twain. They both have a tendency to refer to their mother as ‘Mumsy’ and baby her.
History[]
Background[]
As children, Solar and Polar Twain witnessed their mother accidentally injure herself at the Global Games. They blamed the the world for her not winning a gold medal, and have since sought revenge.[1]
At some point, Solar Twain and Polar Twain took an improv class together.[2]
Ben 10[]
Solar Twain debuted in Poles Apart, where he and Polar Twain travelled to the North Pole to install a magnetic tower, which according to Solar, would cause all electronics on Earth to fail. They magnetized the Omni-Copter, suspecting Team Tennyson was there to stop them. However, the two quickly began to argue. Solar suggested they split up, with him being the one to activate their tower while Polar dealt with Ben. Concerned he would receive the credit for his work, Polar insisted he activate it, leading to them both going to the tower. They continued to fight, chucking metal objects at each other. Amidst their fighting, Heatblast caused their tower to malfunction, causing them to be stuck to it. The two escaped the rubble of the tower, still arguing as a polar bear chased them down.
In Lickety Split, Solar and Polar travelled to the equator, where they planned to use the Earth Splitter to split the Earth into two halves. There, they were found by Team Tennyson, and Ben used Heatblast to meld the two's suits together. They made a retreat, and sent their AIs to exposit their plan to the Tennysons and activate the Earth Splitter. XLR8 found the two, but failed to defeat them because of the Omnitrix glitching. Ben, against his better judgement, pointed out how they could only defeat him when they're working together, causing them to forgive each other. Just as they were about to defeat Ben, the AIs working the Earth Splitter malfunctioned, forcing them to take over as the operators. However, Gwen and Ben managed to get them to argue again, ultimately foiling their plans.
In Tokyo Fun, Part 2: Slamming It Up, Solar and Polar attacked the Global Games, collecting gold medals from competitors for their mother. Once again, the two quickly began fighting, this time over who got to take the medals and who got to carry their mother. Ben tried using Shock Rock to intervene, but the Twain Twins left to ensure their mother was unharmed. After leaving her at a park, they returned to fight Shock Rock. They defeated him, and continued to collect medals. While fighting XLR8, the two accidentally crushed a sign reading "WE CAN DO MORE KABOOM!" so it read "WE ♡ MOM!". Their mother expressed her joy of seeing them work together on something, and the two willingly went to jail.
In Ben 10 Versus the Universe: The Movie, he and Polar attempted to steal the radio tower on top of Phil's house. However, they were beaten by Dark Matter, and arrested by the cops.
