The Shrink Ray is a device created by Blukic and Driba to allow them to shrink Rook down to microscopic size. It was used in Food Around the Corner.
Function[]
As its name implies, the device shrinks people and objects. The subject to be shrunken stands on a platform, and is reduced in size and mass by an overhead energy projector. Even though Driba did mention that the device was still being 'alpha-tested,' (meaning that it had just passed the drawing board phase), the shrink ray actually worked perfectly.
Weaknesses[]
Technically speaking, since the shrink ray was still being 'alpha-tested,' it is considered to be a prototype, and would presumably have some bugs to work out; though its first trial run was a success. The only real problem would be its Galvan operators, as Driba and Blukic initially believed that the device didn't work, thinking it disintegrated Rook.
History[]
Omniverse[]
In order to contact the Hulex fleas without disturbing the peace talks, Rook was shrunken down to microscopic size. Due to a misunderstanding, Driba and Blukic almost stepped on Rook as they believed that the machine had vaporized him. Fortunately, Max proved that the machine had worked, and Rook was later able to stop the Hulex and aid Ben in taking down Poltroon.

Trivia[]
- This is one of the few devices that Driba and Blukic had created which actually worked the way it was supposed to.
