Sara's Italian Deli first appeared in Breakpoint. When Ben Tennyson was undercover in Fistrick's gym as Wildvine, he got hungry and asked Rook for a meatball sub. Rook had never heard of meatball subs before and got one for Ben at Sara's Italian Deli: regular, not Gloppenbeef, as Wildvine requested. When Wildvine came back from the gym, though, Rook had eaten the entire sub and had nothing to say in his defense. On their next stakeout of Fistrick's robberies, Rook got himself and Ben subs, just as Ben was starting to watch what he eats. After Ben and Rook defeated Fistrick and his gang, Ben celebrated with chili fries at Burger Shack, while Rook was very distraught to learn that they don't serve meatball subs. Ben agreed to get Rook one, then got an idea to annoy Fistrick by bringing him a sub in his cell at Plumber Headquarters.[1]
