Roger is a somewhat short and fat middle-aged man. He is partially bald and only has brown hair on the side of his head. He wears a brown suit and has wrinkles on his forehead. He has a tie which is a little more reddish than his suit. His eyes are black.
Roger is a grouchy man and gets even more so when his rent money isn't paid on time.
In Washington B.C., Roger goes to Dr. Animo, who hadn't paid his rent for six months. He knocks on the door but there is no answer, so he uses his keys to get in. He is shocked by how Animo has animals all over the house. While he is watching one of Animo's frogs in their terrarium, Animo sneaks up on him. He shouts at Roger for distracting him from his research, and commands him to get out. However, Roger tells Animo that he is completely out of his mind and he will drop him and his furry friends to the streets. Animo doesn't care about the threat, as he takes out a frog from its terrarium and puts on his helmet. After seeing his helmet, Roger starts laughing. Animo gets angry because of it and mutates the frog into a giant monster. The frog swallows him, only to regurgitate him back up moments later. Roger was left in the apartment, covered by the frog's saliva.
