Rhomboid "Boid" Vreedle is one of the Vreedle Brothers. He is significantly less intelligent and more trigger-happy than his older[VA 1] brother Octagon. He and his brother are clones, as revealed in Con of Rath.
Appearance[]
In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, he had a flat-top haircut (which was covered by a hat with goggles on) and he wore an orange shirt, red overalls, and black gloves, belt and belt pouches.
While attending the Plumbers Academy, he and Octagon had crew cuts.
In Omniverse, he is buff and still wears the same outfit from Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, but now has orange gloves and belt pouches, instead of black. He also has a black strip around the wrist on each glove, and a patch of hair on his chin.
Personality[]

Rhomboid is the less intelligent of the Vreedle Brothers, always dumbfounded or barely keeping up with his brother Octagon's silver tongue. He often forgets things being told to him, or asks for them to be repeated.[2][3] However, he is more intelligent than Rath.[4]
Rhomboid is the muscle and workhorse of the Vreedle Brothers duo. He loves to shoot his guns and cause destruction, to the point of needing to be told by Octagon not to.[2] He especially loves whenever he gets the chance to "blow something up real good."
Despite his more rural accent and manner of speech standing in contrast to his brother, Rhomboid still knows a decent amount of challenging words, and even occasionally incorporates French words and phrases in his vocabulary.[1][5]
History[]

Powers and Abilities[]
Rhomboid is stronger than his brother, which makes him perfect for heavy lifting and brute force. He normally carries whatever arsenal they have or loot they have just stolen. As a Vreedle, he is able to survive the vacuum of space without a spacesuit.
His main ability lies within his immortality, as his memories and experiences are constantly being transferred to a cloning chamber every time he dies in some manner, such as his previous body being destroyed. According to his brother, this situation has happened on a fairly regular basis.
Equipment[]
Rhomboid wields various blasters and rifles.
Weaknesses[]
Being the dumber of the pair, Rhomboid's actions have led to several defeats. One must give him instructions clearly and as simply as possible, otherwise he will take any general order literally, such as pulling and throwing the pin of a grenade while keeping the explosive part.[6]
Like Octagon, Rhomboid fears his mother, Ma Vreedle.
Like Octagon, Rhomboid is enamored by bubble wrap, and can get easily distracted by it.[2]
Rhomboid can be immobilized by freezing liquid.[1]
Rhomboid can be trapped in an Evolved Arachnachimp's webbing.[7]
