Prypiatosian-As are a species from the planet Prypiatos in the Andromeda Galaxy. They are a sister species to the Prypiatosian-Bs.[AP 1]
History[]
The Prypiatosian-A and Prypiatosian-Bs' common ancestors were responsible for an atomic war that completely devastated their near planet-spanning mega-cities. In the aftermath, the surviving denizens that fled underground managed to avoid the nuclear fallout, and came to be known as the Prypiatosian-As, while those who stayed above ground to scavenge became known as the Prypiatosian-Bs.[AP 1]
The Prypiatosian-As eventually established new subterranean cities of their own, lead-lined for their own protection from the hazardously irradiated world that had once been their home.[AP 1]
Weaknesses[]
Unlike their radioactive counterparts, Prypiatosian-As are not immune to radiation and cannot survive on Prypiatos' surface.
Etymology[]
Prypiatosian is derived from Pripyat, the Ukrainian city where the Chernobyl disaster occurred in 1986.
