The Plumbiers (pronounced "PLOOM-e-YAY"), later known as the original Earth Plumbers, were a society on Earth who fought against the supernatural before the planet's first contact with alien life, and who predated the intergalactic Plumbers as Earth's leading extraterrestrial police force.

The Plumbiers were known as the original Earth Plumbers before they disbanded as Earth joined with the intergalactic authorities. The organization was shut down and all their operations were taken over.
Though they fight the supernatural, the Plumbiers' technology can fight on par against alien technology despite first alien contact only occurring in the 18th century.

Etymology[]
Washington cited the name Plumbiers being French for "iron workers".[2][3] However, this is false; the word is not the translation of 'iron workers' (ferroniers) nor 'plumbers' (plombiers).
