The Piscciss Giant Squid is a predator from the planet Piscciss.
Appearance[]
The Piscciss Giant Squid is an extremely large underwater decapod, akin to the mythical kraken. Its lavender body has six big tentacles, connected at the head and to each other by some webbing. The head itself has a segmented pillbug-like shape, hosting a row of six yellow eyes on each side. On the underside of its head and webbing is its magenta-colored mouth, with three rows of teeth, and four additional tentacles, which are much thinner and have bony spikes on their ends.[1]
History[]
Ultimate Alien[]
In Deep, Ben's team arrived at Piscciss to stop Ultimate Aggregor from stealing a piece of the Map of Infinity. As they dived down into the planet's waters and began their descent to the core, they were first attacked by the Piscciss Giant Squid. It damaged the Rustbucket 3, stranding the team; Ben sent out a distress signal. Kevin decided to test out his modifications to their Plumber suits and fight back against it, eventually defeating it with a powerful neuroshock. During the fight, Kevin's suit had sustained damage from the Kraken, and his helmet eventually cracked into pieces from the underwater pressure. Kevin would have lost oxygen, had the Blowfish not saved him. Afterwards, the Kraken attempted a surprise attack from below, but Pyke arrived at the distress signal and scared away the Kraken.
Behavior[]
The Piscciss Giant Squid seems to be able to thrive in both Piscciss' shallow waters and deeper waters.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
The Piscciss Giant Squid's immense size allows it to easily take on prey, including large ships like the Rustbucket 3.[1]
The Piscciss Giant Squid's tentacles are both strong and maneuverable. Its thinner magenta tentacles are even capable of coiling around small things to pick them up, and their kinetic impact is strong enough to crack glass. The spike on the end of these tentacles is also very strong, easily able to penetrate the Rustbucket 3's hull and damage it.[1]
The Piscciss Giant Squid can swim well; even while upside-down, to directly eat prey above it.[1]
Weaknesses[]
The is slightly weak to the neuroshock pulsers in Plumber suits. While small shocks can only repel attacks from one of its tentacles, or make them lose their grip, a larger combined shock in its mouth is able to seriously hurt it.[1]
The Piscciss Giant Squid was repelled from a blast from Pyke's sonic gun.[1]
