– LaGrange taunting Ben.[1] |
The Omnitrix Jammer,[2][1] also known as the Anti-XLR8 Remote,[2][1] was a remote-like device that prevented Ben from transforming into XLR8.
Appearance[]
The Omnitrix Jammer was a grey, diamond-shaped remote with a round button on the face connected to a yellow light.
Functions[]
The device was able to revert Ben to human after transforming into XLR8. After that, Ben wouldn't be able to transform into that form until the remote was disabled.
History[]
Ben 10[]
In Forever Road, the Forever Knight gave Lucien LaGrange the remote after recruiting him for a race. When Phil was unable to participate in the race due to being sick, Ben volunteers to take his place and promises to Max that he will win the race for Phil's sake. He transforms into XLR8 in order to quickly finish the race, but LaGrange uses his new remote to revert Ben back to human. Ben then has no choice but to participate as another alien, that being Diamondhead, with a new goal of defeating LaGrange and destroying the remote. Ben later manages to defeat LaGrange as Slapback and retrieved the remote, however he wasn't able to win the race for Phil. Ben apologizes to Phil, and mentions how he got distracted by getting the Omnitrix Jammer from LaGrange. Phil is impressed by the device and asks to take it in for some studies. Ben questions if he's mad about him not winning the race, however Phil states that it was just a tour of a nearby factory.
