The Omnitrix is the duplicate of the original Omnitrix that Ben 10,000 created for his son, Ken's 10th birthday.
At some point, Ken replaced it with the Omnitrix.

This Omnitrix's appearance resembles the original Omnitrix prior to its reconfiguration.
History[]
Ben 10[]
For Kenny's tenth birthday, Ben created a duplicate Omnitrix and gave it to him in a similar, but smaller pod Ben found his in when he was ten.
When he received it, Ken was eager to try out all of Ben's 10,000 aliens but was disappointed to find out that he had to start out with 10 like his father did in his young age. He was even more disappointed to hear that his father had already downloaded 10 for him, without letting him choose.

General[]
- The Omnitrix mainly allowed for the user to transform into a numerous variety of alien life-forms that are each with their own unique powers and abilities (along with their weaknesses) and in a selection of alien DNA that is in groups of 10.
- The Omnitrix has a 2-way communication system.
- The Omnitrix has a limiter, which can be removed from the user, making them have instantaneous transformations at their command.[1][2]
Display Modes[]
- The Omnitrix has only shown one display mode thus far (black silhouettes of transformations).
Allocation[]
- When the user is transformed, an Omnitrix symbol appears in random places.
Clothing[]
- The Omnitrix may or may not give clothing to a transformation, based on the wearer's clothing.

- Ben used his smartest aliens to create this Omnitrix, including Grey Matter, Frankenstrike, and Brainstorm.[pop-up 1][2]
- This has been slightly retconned, as Ben does not become any smarter as Frankenstrike.[DJW 1]
- The original 10 aliens for the Omnitrix included Toepick, which was replaced by Grey Matter by Ben 10,000 on Ken's request.
