Nyancy Chan is a female human villain with the power to control feline species. She appears in Omniverse.
Appearance
Nyancy is an Asian girl with black-purple hair in the style of a long ponytail with a pink bow on her head that resembles cat ears, and four purple lines on her face that resemble whiskers. She also wears glasses, sports a white and light purple dress with pink tights, light purple sneakers, a cat bell on her neck, and cat paw-like gloves.
When Nyancy activates her powers, her pupils become slitted like a cat's.
Personality
Nyancy is very obsessed with felines, sometimes even acting like them, such as meowing and purring like a cat, specially while talking to and controlling them.
History
In Tummy Trouble, Nyancy managed to capture Ben and Rook using controlled tigers. She later tried unsuccessfully to take over Rook, because she thought the alien was a cat. Blonko pretended to be at her service, then handcuffed her and handed her over to the Plumbers.
Nyancy made a cameo in Special Delivery, as one of the patrons at Psyphon's Undertown auction.
In Catfight, Nyancy Chan robbed people in the cinema with cute little cats. When Rook and Ben noticed this, they ran after the animals. A series of events led to Chan hypnotizing Rath and using him in various heists. After a confrontation with Looma and Attea, she again tried to take control of Ben, but Rook arrested her.
In The Most Dangerous Game Show, Nyancy was one of many contestants trying to win Ben's hand in marriage on Charles Zenith's game show. She fails the first round when she cannot keep quiet in Hex's library, hissing at a dog. After losing, she was transported to the Null Void.
Powers and Abilities
Nyancy can hypnotize cats or anything cat-like to do her bidding, including Appoplexians. She can also control Citrakayahs, depending on how prevalent their feline attributes are.[DJW 1]
Nyancy has enhanced jumping and reflexes, as she can dodge Blitzwolfer's attacks.
Weaknesses
Nyancy can't fully control cat-like beings, like Revonnahganders, but can still control aliens that are more cat than man, such as Rath; though Rath's dim-witted personality was what likely made him volatile.
Her powers have no effect on canine-like aliens such as Vulpimancers and Loboans; Nancy is also terrified of them. This also goes for any other aliens that aren't feline-based.
