Necrofriggians are a species of insectoid aliens that hail from the planets Kylmyys and Mykdl'dy.
Appearance
Necrofriggians are a genderless, insectoid species with wings and antenna that can fold up into a hooded robe (much akin to a poncho), giving them the appearance of a phantom.
Necrofriggians have a blue body with black and white spots on their arms and legs that resemble ice chunks, a light blue torso and large pale green eyes. They have three pointed fingers and a thumb on each hand and two toes on each foot and a third toe-like extension on their ankles.
Necrofriggians from Mykdl'dy have much paler skin than Necrofriggians from Kylmyys and they also have blue eyes.
In Omniverse, Necrofriggians have a much more muscular build, large eyebrows and sharper ears. They have bigger wings, claws and a black beard design under their chin.
Necrofriggians from Dimension 23 are white instead of black and with a lighter blue color scheme.

Behavior
Newborn Necrofriggians have an appetite for metal and will first eat the nest, before they instinctively fly to Kylmyys (if they aren't on it already).[1]
Mykdl'dy Necrofriggians are known to be devoted to sacred objects, such as a shrine on Mykdl'dy, the desecration of which they see as sacrilege.[2]
Reproduction
Necrofriggians breed asexually by laying eggs once every 80 years. During and after their breeding period, they have a compulsive need to gather large amounts of metal and bring it to their nesting site (via ingestion and subsequent regurgitation). It is from the metal that they build and fortify a large nest to house their eggs. After some days pass, the eggs will hatch, ranging from a few to many.[1]
Power and Abilities
Necrofriggians can exhale ice generating gas or force wind that can either cause ice to form mid air, on a target or targeted area, or turn a target to ice. They are also capable of using their hands and touch to freeze targets or to generate ice constructs. They are also capable of moving or phasing through objects, which they are able to turn to ice if they choose to. In addition, their ability to become intangible allows them to float, levitate and glide.
Necrofriggians can fold their wings and antennae forming a hood and a long robe, giving them a phantom-like appearance.
Necrofriggians can survive the vacuum of space,[3] extreme heat or cold,[2] and underwater.[4]
Necrofriggians can fly using their wings, normally by gliding. They can also leave behind an ice trail while flying.
Necrofriggians have cryokinesis, allowing them to control the ice they generate at will. They can also generate ice beams from their hands which they can manipulate.[5]
Necrofriggians have enhanced strength, as seen when Big Chill was on a metal-eating spree, where he effortlessly ripped apart a large metal statue and snapped iron girders in half.[1] They can also carry a Revonnahgander while keeping steady flight.[6]
A Necrofriggian's strength extends to their feet, which are prehensile, as they can carry an Opticoid while flying.[7]
Necrofriggians are rather durable, as Big Chill was able to take a laser blast to the back from Kraab and only be slightly fazed.[8]
Necrofriggians are quite agile, as they are capable of dodging attacks while flying.
Necrofriggians have powerful jaws capable of chewing up and devouring metal statues, poles, buildings, signs, iron girders, and serving trays.[1]
Necrofriggians possess sharp claws. For example, Big Chill's claws were able to tear through Inspector 13's suit to remove one of his devices.[9]
Necrofriggians can freeze strong adhesives using their ice breath.[6]
Necrofriggians can cover their eyes to prevent them from looking at things they should not see, such as a Psycholeopterran's hypnotic mist.[10]
Weaknesses
A Necrofriggian's intangibility is useless against opponents who can also turn intangible, such as Ectonurites or other Necrofriggians, as their intangibility cancels out.[2]
Necrofriggians are vulnerable to being hypnotized and trapped their natural predator, the Psycholeopterran.[10]
Necrofriggians are vulnerable to being possessed by Ectonurites.[DJW 1]
Necrofriggians are vulnerable to electricity, such as that generated by Cerebrocrustaceans[11] or the Shield of Seagle.[12]
Necrofriggians are incapable consuming anything other than metal, as shown when Big Chill was uninterested in devouring Kevin's stone armor.[1]
Necrofriggians are vulnerable to magic, as shown when Big Chill was trapped by one of Gwen's mana spheres. However, they can easily phase out of it.[1]
Necrofriggians are sensitive to high-pitched sounds, such as those of an Evolved Sonorosian's Sonic Disks, as demonstrated with several Albino Necrofriggian guards.[2]
