Munya is the villainous assistant of V.V. Argost. He is a human who was injected with the DNA of a Papuan Giant Spider, giving him spider powers and a human/spider hybrid form.
Appearance[]
Munya looks like a red-skinned deformed human with a big left red eye, black sharp claws, and four spider legs and seven spikes coming out of his back.
Personality[]
Munya has a ferocious and sadistic personality as a mutant spider.
History[]
Munya is loyal to Dr. Animo, knowing he will bring back V.V. Argost. He himself witnesses his resurrection and is very astonished. Munya helps Animo put the final details on Argost. When Ben Tennyson, Rook Blonko, Zak Saturday, and Fiskerton Saturday were searching for Cryptids, Zak's powers lead them to the Animo's lair.
When they enter, they realize it is empty, but Zak assures that he felt a cryptid energy. Rook begins to illuminate the place with his Proto-Tool manages to see that there are spider webs and Munya's face is seen. Zak uses the Claw, but it is useless and rather Munya begins to beat Zak against the walls. Fiskerton catches Zak before he gets hurt more, and with the Claw he attracts Munya and starts hitting him in the face. Finally, Munya falls defeated.

Munya is able to shoot spider webbing out of his mouth and use his spider legs for better mobility.

Trivia[]
- This version of Munya doesn't have a speaking role with human grunts and growls.
- The redesign of Munya's red eye is on the wrong side. In the original series, the red eye is on the right side while the left eye is normal.
