The Municipal Park[script 1] is a park in Bellwood.
Appearance[]
Municipal Park is a stretch of greens located within the downtown area of Bellwood. It was originally a pleasant locale, consisting of grey paths and greenery aplenty, however, Psyphon activated a Nuclear Fusion Grenade in the middle of the park, forming a massive crater. It was restored prior to Couples Retreat, though the summoning of the Door to Anywhere caused am equally noticeable scorch mark to appear on the ground.
Notable landmarks in Municipal Park include a fountain, and an art installation that was destroyed during Ben and Vilgax's fight. Before its destruction, the installation was situated before a brown decorative flooring.
History[]
Alien Force[]
In Vengeance of Vilgax: Part 1, Psyphon surrounded the park in a force field. The police tried to stop him, to no avail. Vilgax teleported into the park and he and Psyphon issued a Conqueror's Challenge to Ben, with the Earth as the prize. The Rustbucket 2 arrived, and Max and the Plumbers' Helpers attempted to fight Vilgax. After defeating them, Vilgax said he would return in one day to fight Ben and threatened to destroy Earth if Ben did not show up.
In Vengeance of Vilgax: Part 2, Psyphon announced on live TV that the battle was being televised worldwide. He forewarned the people of Earth that the Conqueror's Challenge was merely a courtesy and explained that Vilgax's starship fleet was currently in orbit. If Ben failed to show, the fleet would obliterate the planet when Vilgax was declared the winner by default. Ben arrived shortly after. Psyphon told Ben that, when the challenge was complete, he would personally remove the Omnitrix and present to it Vilgax, who also arrived in time for the contest. Vilgax announced his presence to Ben, looking forward to killing him and conquering Earth. Ben eventually defeated Vilgax using Diamondhead.
Ultimate Alien[]
In Couples Retreat, Ben (as Fasttrack) followed Darkstar to the park. In flight, Darkstar casted a spell from a page from Gwen's spellbook (which he had torn off) and summoned the Door to Anywhere. As he finished the spell, the door appeared and an explosion from it knocked out him and Fasttrack. Charmcaster came out from the other side of the door and was intrigued by Darkstar, taking him with her through the door. The door disappeared as Kevin and Gwen caught up, while the latter recognized that the spell Darkstar used was to conjure the Door to Anywhere. Gwen blamed Kevin because he moved her spellbook from her desk to his garage, claiming it would be safer that way. Gwen then informed Kevin that she had cast fifteen security spells, making her house safer than anywhere else.
