I've been feeling pretty conflicted on whether or not we should remove this "weakness" from some aliens' pages for a while now since, you know, anyone can be lifted, but the fact that Way Big was confirmed to be vulnerable to being lifted by Humungousaur is what bugs me about removing this. What do you think?
It's not that vulnerability to being lifted is a weakness, as you said, anyone can be lifted. I'd say the same goes to these: anyone can be trapped in a force field, anyone can slip on a slippery surface, and anyone can be mind-controlled etc. (of course, those that can't are special)
It's rather Humungousaur's great strength that he could lift someone as heavy as Way Big.
Hello i wanted to let you know that i recently uploaded some Derrick J Wyatt answer screencaps, and i tried to edit the pages and add the information to them, but my phone get's out of the website incompleting the edit. Not sure why all of a sudden. But that's my problem, i wanted to know if you could add the information from the screencaps.
No problem in that, but I noticed all of the screen caps you added were Derrick not giving any confirmed information. All of it is just "probably/maybe XYZ" which indicates that he thought it up on being asked the question.
The Ultimate Big Chill one is far more hypothetical because while DJW decides on designs of aliens, changing and/or adding powers to aliens doesn't come under his jurisdiction. So it's a more personal question, similar to: what aliens would you have in your Omnitrix?
Tbh, the Big Chill question is a personal question too, but I guess it is still worth putting an Art Director's views on his own art in the Trivia.
I'm curious if you are able to find the artwork for Gwen's appearance in season 3 of Alien Force. I know it's somewhere online considering there is already a colored model of her. It is also strange that Glenn Wong hasn't added this to his instagram or portfolio yet. I can understand if you are busy with other things to look for the image.
Just stating unnamed XYZ in info-boxes is pointless. There's no information there. Also, technically, ML-E having parents does not mean T8-M has a husband (divorced, same sex parents, etc. There are a dozen possibilities that one must be open to, especially in today's times)
With Make Pages for Derrick's Livestream Aliens having passed I think we should be alright to do it. In any case, "Rath" was never the official name (we only used it since we knew Ben 23 had an Appoplexian at the time, but we didnt have an exact name).
I forgot to leave a comment on that thread about it before it was closed so I figured I'd ask you (sorry if this is the wrong place to ask)
While I support the idea, given that that suggestion has passed, (Obviously with enough indicators on the page to suggest to the reader the canonicity (or lack thereof) of the name), I'll have to take it up with the other admins. We'll inform you of the decision.
What does the series have to do with powers? That's just rating images from new to old, efficient perhaps but not logical. Heatblast's fire-related abilities are more important than enhanced strength, which is fairly common among Ben's aliens.
Also, to answer your question about Heatblast's durability pic, it was just him lying on the floor. Didn't really show much. A pic of him against the wall would've been better.
I think some people, including myself, thought it would be most appropriate to use the Omnitrix (Omniverse) link as a source on the top of all of the Classic Continuity alien pages because said device is the one that CC Ben is currently wearing. Granted, the first two Omnimatrix devices definitely had all of the alien DNA samples of every species that are presumed to hail from the Milky Way (minus the Andromeda Five), but I think it makes the most sense to use the OV Omnitrix as a source since again, CC Ben is currently wearing that device, and the original Omnitrix and original Ultimatrix no longer exist.
Heatblast is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Pyronite.
This is a generic statement explaining who Heatblast is. Here, I believe, we should add the generic Omnitrix link (to the disambig page) as the DNA sample isn't exclusive to Classic Ben's latest Omnitrix. At least when explaining who Heatblast fundamentally is. Heatblast was also the DNA sample in the prototype Omnitrix, Ultimatrix, Biomnitrix, Replica Omnitrix etc. Every other link to the Omnitrix, without context, linking to OV Omnitrix makes sense by your logic. I agree to that. In this very first line, I think linking to the generic Omnitrix is most logical.
Welp, just yesterday I took care of all the aliens' pages except Whampire's, who really shouldn't get the generic Omnitrix link treatment since his DNA wasn't obtained by the current Omnitrix until The Vampire Strikes Back. How does that sound?
