So I found a kid who’s been posting in the discussion forums a lot. I suspected he might be under 13, and he told me he was 12. I am just wondering what I should do from here. Do I tell him to stop posting? Do I delete any posts? Should I report him to the admins? I’ve never dealt with something like this before, so any advice would be appreciated.
Sorry if the deletion of your post had hurt you. I deleted it because asking for administrator or moderator rights is against the rules. Glad to see that you found your answer yourself. I do not have problem with your promotion to a mod, the most important thing is that BTP is not in the need of any more mod. I know that I was inactive from 5 days or a week on the wiki but other mod and admins were active and performing their duties.
And I checked your last posts and replies and observed that you spammed a bit, discussed about things not related to Ben 10, etc which is against the rule. And even if BTP would need a mod, I have list of active users on discussions which obey the rules and regulations.
Wait what rules did I violate? I did discuss other topics but only in the context of comparing them to Ben 10. I only posted one reply at a time. If you are talking about my Ben 10 vs. Dragon Ball discussions, I only went into details to present context for the discussion. If I did seriously violate any rules please let me know he specific instances so I can avoid making those mistakes in the future.
Hello, I see my post about a fanart of mine was deleted. I read the policy and it states that fanart is prohibited, I didn't know.
But now, the matter is that I see posts about fanarts all the time and I don't understand why was mine deleted while those aren't. I want to let know that I don't want them deleted, just an explanation of the difference.
Yes, I deleted it. I was going to give you a warning today but I found this message.
Can you give me an example of a fanart which is not deleted on discussions? I know you must be remembering those posts as evidence but for your kind information, those posts do not have the major aim to show their fanarts, instead they contain a question. Here are few examples:
If you are talking about the fanarts which were posted 17 or 18 hours ago, then do not blame me for that. I was lastly online 21 hours ago on the wiki. It is not possible to check the wiki every hour. So those posts would be deleted in 24 hours or more by me. If you have any question or suggestion, feel free to go ahead.
I am Reverb Frost a global discussion moderator and a community councillor.
I have been facing some issues with a user on one of my wikis who has been spreadimg false word and plotting a "Spam attack" by usimg the discussion board of this wiki. His behaviour on this wiki itself is quite disrespectful and violates way too many rules and guidelines. Kindly propose a ban on the account of this user.
I read the posts he made on the wiki and found him breaking many rules like spamming, discussing things not related to Ben 10 and disrespecting users. I will ask from the admins to block him. Thank you for your report!
You're going to have to give us more to go on I'm afraid. As far as I can tell by his recent activity (this thread), it just seems like you've been stalking him. The most I should warn him with is spam for taking a thread off-subject, but I should also warn you for doing the same thing.
And if he is copying the contents on Fortnite wiki, then warn him on that wiki instead of asking me to block him here. He just spammed and disrespected the users here, so we need to make him aware of the rules instead of blocking him directly.
I sent you the message about blocking him before because I thought you might be saying true being a Global Discussion MOD, but as I read both the threads today, I felt you should also improve the way you are talking. You are just irritating him due to which he is spamming and disrespecting you.
I would recommend you not to argue with the users and the most important thing you discussed about the things not related to Ben 10. Please read the rules and guidelines to prevent these from happening.
