Merlinisapiens are chameleon-like aliens.
Appearance
Merlinisapiens resemble salamanders but are larger and can walk on two legs. The have three trianglar eyes. They resemble the RGB effects on Televisions screens.
Powers and Abilities
Merlinisapiens are able to camouflage with their surroundings except their shadows remain visible. Merlinisapiens are extremely agile and flexible. They also possess a tail with stinger. They are also slippery as even Gwen found it really hard to catch hold of Prisoner 775, using her mana.
Weaknesses
Despite being able to appear invisible, very observant people can see their shadows. Like all living beings, Merlinisapiens can be sensed via mana. It is unknown wether it is a habit Prisoner 775 has or a weakness to all Merlinisapiens, when Prisoner 775, punches someone, he turns visible briefly.

- The name Merlinisapien may come from Merlin, the legendary wizard from King Arthur's tale, King Arthur's mentor and best friend. It may instead be a reference to David Merlini, a Hungarian artist.
- The Krash magazine called the species Lacertillion.
- Merlinsapiens' eyes are based on the design of the martians' eye in the 1953 movie "War of the Worlds," the only difference being Merlinsapiens have three seperate eyes while the martiians had one tri-sectioned eye, but of the same color scheme.
