Max's Hideout is where Max resided while combating D'Void as the Wrench.

Appearance

Max's Hideout is a large wooden shack covered in moss. A large chimney billows out smoke, the doorway has no door but is instead a curtain. Inside is a long corridor full of various alien tech, leading to a circular room, with a large fireplace, where Max did his cooking. The room also has a table and stools, surrounded by stone walls.

History

Alien Force

In Voided, Helen and Manny brought Ben to speak to the Wrench. Fearing he was an imposter, Pierce battled Ben to test him, and upon confirming he was what he seemed to be, brought him to the entrance, warning him not to try any of the offered food. Ben spoke to The Wrench to warn him about the destabalising Null Void, upon which The Wrench revealed himself as Max. Max then told the story of what he did since stranding himself in the Null Void. Max then told Pierce to assemble his team, while they planned to ambush D'Void at his citadel.

In Singlehanded, after getting stranded in the Null Void, Ben headed for Max's hideout for tech that would hopefully let him get back to Earth. After being retrieved thanks to Kevin, the Omnitrix was displaced into the Null Void, where Havoc Beasts were intrigued by it and playing with it. Sunder was then inadvertently sent to the Null Void, where he was confronted by the Havoc Beasts wielding his axe.

Max sends Ben to the Null Void to retrieve the Sub-Energy Core from his old hideout. It turns out D'Void had taken control of the hideout, since being imprisoned there. Ben uses Big Chill to freeze D'Void's Kormite furnaces and weaken him. After defeating him, Ben uses the Sub-Energy to power his Skeleton Key to get back to Ship, taking only one second. He also brings back a picture Max left of the trio during the summer five years ago.

Trivia

• In the first draft of the Voided script outline dated January 8, 2008. Max's hideout is a planetoid covered by electrified mist.
