Mathieu is an old friend of Max Tennyson who appeared in Dora Flora.

Mathieu is an adult man with straight, medium-length, light brown hair that falls slightly over his forehead. He has thick, dark eyebrows, brown eyes, and a neatly trimmed goatee. His shirt is orange with a white spiral pattern, short sleeves, and he wears light blue jeans. His skin is fair.

In Dora Flora, Mathieu took Team Tennyson for a bayou tour of Louisiana, where he discussed the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina and a "monster" that was scaring people (although he claimed it was fake).
