Main Timeline
General Information
First Appearance	And Then There Were 10

“	Ultimate Alien is always taking place "now". Alien Force is always taking place just before Ultimate Alien. Ben 10 Classic was always taking place "now", until Alien Force aired, at which point it took place about 5 years ago.	”
– Dwayne McDuffie's concept of "now" during Ultimate Alien's run, implying the use of a floating timeline. Due to the nature of a floating timeline, the contents and the dates are subject to revision.

The Main Timeline (also known as the Prime Timeline) is where all of the canon episodes of Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10: Omniverse take place.

This is the timeline where nearly the entire Classic Continuity takes place. Ben 10: Race Against Time didn't directly happen in this timeline, and Gwen 10 and Goodbye and Good Riddance are "what if" episodes.

Events

The Beginning	Maltruant arrives on the Contumelia ship with his own Annihilargh, followed by Ben Tennyson and Rook Blonko. Ben uses the power of all his alien transformations to hold the big bang, and defeat Maltruant. The Universe had been created by the Contumelia and the Slimebiotes started their lifelong mission of seeding life across the growing universe. The Timeline at the beginning started to branch into many timelines and shift creating its own Timestream. Realities began to diverge.
Prior to 231AD	Millions of years prior to Omniverse A meteor crashes on Galvan Prime. The Omnivoracious species becomes extinct. Before 231AD Azmuth is born. Zennith is born. Azmuth creates Primus and later begins creation on Ascalon. Zennith leaves Azmuth, he doesn't know until he found her gone when he finishes creating Ascalon.
231AD-1900	231 Sir George is born. Before 1131 The destruction of the Incursean Homeworld takes place. 1131 Sir George acquires Ascalon from Azmuth. He then uses it to put an end to Dagon and end his reign by cutting out his heart. George then seals Dagon away. After 1131 Azmuth starts creating the Unitrix and the Omnitrix. The Forever Knights are founded by Sir George. The Forever Knights kidnap an alien mapmaker.
18th Century	George Washington fights off supernatural beings with the soon-to-be-named Plumbers. The organization would fight mostly paranormal and dimensional trouble until the early 1800's. Maltruant arrives seeking help to repair his ship. A young Chimera Sui Generis, Vilgax, helps him in exchange for a Chronosapien Time Bomb. Ben and Rook arrive, who are once again time jumping and fights off Maltruant and Vilgax with the help of George Washington. Seeing the Omnitrix in action inspires Vilgax's Hunt for the Omnitrix.
20th Century	1945 Summer Max Tennyson is born. 1952 Paradox's time machine fails, sending him out of time for 100,000 years. 1962 Max meets Verdona along with the Synthroid. Max is discharged from the Air Force in order to be an astronaut. Magister Labrid invites Max to become a Plumber. 1962-1970s Max becomes a Plumber.
20th and 21st Century	Eleven years prior to the original series Kevin Levin is born. Ten years prior to the original series Ben Tennyson and Gwen Tennyson are born roughly a year later on the same day. Seven years before the original series Mrs. Levin marries Harvey Hackett.
21st Century	The 2000s Kevin destroys his house due to his insanity and then runs away thinking his punishment was being kicked out on the street. Mrs. Levin divorces Harvey.
During Ben 10	Six years ago Summer The events of Ben 10 take place. Vilgax fights off Xylene's Ship for the Omnitrix. Vilgax's body is fatally damaged in battle. The ship is destroyed and the Omnitrix falls to Earth. Max, Ben, and Gwen begin their road trip around the country, starting with a campout. Ben wanders off into the forest and the Omnitrix lands near him. As Ben reaches for it, it jumps on his wrist. Vilgax sends drones for the watch, but they are easily destroyed by Ben. Vilgax's body is finally repaired, gaining new enhancements. Vilgax goes to Earth to retrieve the Omnitrix himself. One week before The Big Tick Arburia is destroyed by the Great One. Azmuth begins working on the new Omnitrix. After Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix The events of Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens take place.
During Omniverse Flashbacks	5 years ago The flashback events of Ben 10: Omniverse take place. 2 to 4 years ago Ben removes the Omnitrix. The Events of The Secret Saturdays take place.
During Alien Force	1 year ago The events of Ben 10: Alien Force take place. The events of Ben 10: Alien Swarm take place. Present Aggregor kidnaps Bivalvan, Andreas, P'andor, Ra'ad, and Galapagus.
Ultimate Alien Omniverse	The events of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien takes place. Azmuth destroys the Ultimatrix.
During Omniverse	The events of Ben 10: Omniverse take place.

• The events of Ben 10: Race Against Time were originally canon to the Classic Continuity. They have been retconned into an alternate timeline as of Ben 10,000 Returns.
• The events of Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens were originally non-canon to the Classic Continuity. They have been canonized to tie in with the Omniverse flashbacks.
• It is revealed in And Then There Were None that the main timeline branched into many alternate realities and timelines.
• The current Ben 10 series always takes place "this year". The original series is perpetually six years ago to the current "now".
