Trivia[]
- Kickin' Hawk's existence was confirmed on the Entertainment Earth website.
- Kickin' Hawk appears to make a screeching sound when he talks, much like how Liam often makes chicken noises when he speaks.
- The same sound can be heard during Kickin' Hawk's transformation sequence and whenever he kicks.
- Said sound appears to be the infamous stock eagle screech, which is the cry of the red-tailed hawk. Interestingly, the red-tailed hawk is among the three birds of prey that were once known as chickenhawks.
- Albedo is unable to transform into Kickin' Hawk.[DJW 1]
- Derrick J. Wyatt possibly came up with Kickin' Hawk, but could not remember if that was true.[DJW 2] He was conceived after the creation of Liam.[DJW 3]
- Kickin' Hawk went by multiple working names, such as Ka-Chickin, Chi-Kickin, Ch'Kickin, and KiChicken, before his final name was coined by Matt Wayne.[DJW 4][DJW 5]
- Kickin' Hawk was designed by Derrick.[DJW 6]
- Kickin' Hawk's Spinning Kick Attack somewhat resembles the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku from Street Fighter.
- Kickin' Hawk's mask resembles that of Hawkman. The rest of his outfit bears a close resemblance to the 1980's design of Marvel's Hercules.
Notes[]
- ↑ Liam is not Kickin' Hawk's genetic donor, as whenever the Omnitrix detects uncatalogued DNA, it will vocally alert Ben and will disable its functions if it does not get close enough to the subject. This means it would have sampled Liam's DNA when Ben first encountered him in The More Things Change: Part 1 if his DNA was not already catalogued as in the case with Whampire.[12]
