Kevin's Elemental Form[outline 1] (also referred to as Kevin's Merged Form)[ms 1] is the mutation Kevin Levin went through during the second season of Alien Force.
Appearance[]
Unlike his other mutations, Kevin's Elemental Form retained his original frame, yet his structure was made out of common elements. The right half of his face, the left half of his chest, the upper right half of his chest, part of his back, and his left arm were made of stone. The lower right half of his chest, part of his back, his stomach, and his right arm were made of metal. The left half of his face was made of Taydenite, and his legs were made of wood. Kevin's Elemental Form wore black speedo-like swim trunks, which had a pocket.[DM 1]
In Singlehanded, Kevin temporarily wore goggles.
History[]
Alien Force[]
In Vengeance of Vilgax: Part 1, Ben's attempt to hack the Omnitrix went wrong, and the Omnitrix overloaded. Kevin ran over to help Ben and tried to override the system, but he didn't get there in time and was caught in the feedback released from the Omnitrix. Because of this, he was unable to transform back into his normal form, instead becoming a combination of different materials.
In Trade-Off!, Kevin teamed up with Darkstar to turn back to normal. He succeeded but lost his powers, making him useless in battle to the team. Gwen found out what he did and went after Darkstar. Darkstar then absorbed all of her power, as well as Ben's while he was Swampfire. Kevin realized that the only way to save them was to stop Darkstar. After stopping Darkstar, he regained his mutation and the Tennyson cousins were saved.
Kevin was transformed back to normal in The Final Battle: Part 2 when the Omnitrix was destroyed. Max discovered that the Omnitrix's energy is what kept him in that form, meaning that his DNA would not have restored itself as long as the Omnitrix was functioning.
Powers and Abilities[]
Kevin's Elemental Form could alter his body to generate spikes on his arms.[2]
Kevin's Elemental Form could shapeshift his hands into different weapons, such as shears,[1] boulders,[3] machetes, bludgeons,[4] battle axes,[5] hammers, blades, spiked maces[6] and mallets.[7]
Kevin's Elemental Form could mix and match the materials used when shapeshifting his hands, such as generating a stone boulder[3] and a stone mace with Taydenite spikes on his metal arm.[6]
Kevin's Elemental Form could enlarge his arms, making them elastic in the process.[8]
Kevin's Elemental Form was strong enough to slow down a moving van,[4] rip a Techadon Robot's head off,[6] and lift a crushed car.[8]
Kevin's Elemental Form was durable enough to survive multiple explosions caused by uranium-1412.[3]
Kevin's Elemental Form was immune to being possessed by Ectonurites.[9]
Weaknesses[]
Most of Kevin's Elemental Form's powers could be neutralized by a power dampening headband.[6]
Being part stone, Kevin's Elemental Form was in danger with creatures that eat stone such as Pyroxovores.[10]
Kevin's Elemental Form was vulnerable to acid.[9]
