The Kelvin Temple[script 1] is a temple which housed the first piece of the Map of Infinity.
Appearance[]
The Kelvin Temple is a structure made up of a brown stone embedded into a thick sheet of ice. It juts out of the ice in the form of a geometric spire, leading down to the entranceway. Said entranceway hangs above a large ravine, necessitating a bridge between itself and a nearby ice sheet. On this sheet is a small platform, topped with two statues of cloaked Necrofriggians holding staffs.
The interior of the temple is blue, with lines running up the walls at various angles. Several traps lay about the labyrinthian temple, namely a massive spiked hammer activated by stepping on the wrong floor tile, a liquid methane pool laying beneath precarious bridges, a room inhabited by a Cerberus, poison darts, and a crushing ceiling.
History[]
Ultimate Alien[]
In the episode Map of Infinity, the first piece of the Map of Infinity was disguised as part of the temple[DM 1] and guarded by Necrofriggian colonists, who engaged the team in battle. Gwen made some of the Necrofriggians fall asleep, while Ultimate Echo Echo knocked them out with sonic discs. The inside of the temple was full of pitfalls and traps such as giant hammers, pools of acid, a creature with two heads that can breathe fire and ice, and a room full of poison darts.
After the team defeated all the traps, they found a gate where the first part of the map was hidden. Four Arms and Kevin raised the door while Gwen entered the room. However, they discovered that Gwen was hit by a poison dart, and she collapsed under the gate. Ultimate Aggregor arrived and took advantage of the situation to claim the first part of the map, leaving Gwen beneath the door. Ultimate Aggregor's leaving made Four Arms furious, and he used his full strength to hold the door so Kevin could rescue Gwen. Cannonbolt then broke out of the temple, but the Ultimatrix timed out on the ship's ramp, and Ben passed out, so Kevin carried Ben and Gwen into the ship. Ben stated that they would prevent Ultimate Aggregor from getting the rest of the map.
