In Washington B.C., Dr. Kelly led a group of people on a tour and he told them that the fact that he was nominated for the Verities Award was an honor itself. Dr. Animo arrived on the T-Rex to steal the award, and promptly did so. After giving a short and pointless speech, he had the T-Rex attack Kelly. Stinkfly arrived just in time to save him. The T-Rex used its tail to smack Stinkfly down to the floor and then tried to eat Kelly. Stinkfly managed to save Kelly and revert the effects of the Transmodulator.
