In An American Benwolf in London, Kai used the phone to call to Ben and Rook to help her and her grandfather to investigate about Excalibur and deal with the Forever Knights.
In The Secret of Dos Santos, Kai used the phone again to call to her grandfather and he tells her to call Ben and Rook. She gets reluctant about that, and her grandfather keeps insisting for her doing this, then she ends the call with her grandfather and calls Ben and Rook as her grandfather told her to do.
