Hit 'Em Where They Live is the third episode of the first season of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, and the third episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Now that Ben's secret identity is out in the open, his old enemies team up to attack his family.[CN 1]
Plot[]
Ben's mother Sandra is washing dishes, unaware that she is about to be ambushed by SevenSeven. Fortunately, Max saves her and successfully repels SevenSeven without her noticing. Max soon realizes that Ben's enemies are hunting his family and needs to find a way to stop the attacks.
Ben's old enemy Rojo and her new biker gang are robbing a train. Ben (as Rath), Gwen, and Kevin defeat them. They are praised for stopping them, until Max shows up in the Rustbucket 3. He tells them that ever since Ben's identity was revealed, his old enemies are returning for revenge by targeting his family. Gwen is outraged that their foes are bringing their families into the feud, while Kevin suggests that any foe who comes after their families be put down. Max also explains that the attacks have been organized by someone.

Zombozo's return
Meanwhile, Charmcaster and Vulkanus meet with Zombozo to get their revenge on Ben and agree to change strategies rather than continue attacking Ben's family home. The following afternoon, Sandra is doing Pilates, balancing on a big rubber ball while her son sits around, anxiously. Carl goes out, leaving his wife and son alone at home.
Zombozo, Charmcaster, and Vulkanus flatten Carl's tire to keep him busy, but soon Ben (who has seemingly forgotten about Zombozo) and his friends arrive and battle the villains. Ben transforms into Swampfire and manages to drive them off and save his father, without him knowing the dangers. Zombozo then targets Ben's mother again at Mr. Smoothy and attacks her there. He shocks Gwen (who was trying to protect Sandra) and gets her dizzy, and kidnaps Sandra.

Ultimate Big Chill using "ice flames"
Ben, Gwen, and Kevin go to Zombozo's hideout to save Sandra. Ben transforms into Big Chill and fights Vulkanus, Kevin fights Charmcaster, and Gwen fights Zombozo. Kevin manages to defeat Charmcaster and her Rock Monsters. Meanwhile, Big Chill freezes most of the Pickaxe Aliens one by one, but there are far too many of him to take on at once. He has had enough and transforms into Ultimate Big Chill and defeats the army altogether. Vulkanus surrenders and attempts to tell Ben where his mother is, but overfilled with anger, he freezes him with his ice breath. With Vulkanus and Charmcaster handled, Ben and Kevin realize that Gwen is surely with Zombozo.

Gwen's Anodite form
Gwen is tied up in tight streamers next to a pillar. Zombozo explains that he intends on not just beating Ben, but also making him suffer. Gwen then sees Sandra on a high tightrope holding a pole before bombs detonate and burn the rope on both ends. Seeing Zombozo trying to kill her aunt in a cruel manner enrages Gwen, who suddenly breaks free from the rope. Gradually changing into her Anodite form and growing to giant size, she demands him to spread a message to all other villains; if any of them have a grudge to settle with her, Ben, or Kevin, then the Tennyson family is to be left alone, promising severe repercussions should they so much as "bump into someone [they] love in the street". She saves Sandra and lets a terrified Zombozo go to inform the villains, then reverts to her human form off-screen.
After that, Gwen and Sandra are found sitting on a bench, with Gwen eating candy floss. She then offers Sandra some, but Sandra says that processed sugar is poison, before Ben and Kevin show up. Ben asks about Sandra, and Kevin asks about Zombozo. As Gwen is about to take a bite on her candy floss, she pauses and says that they do not have to worry about him anymore. Gwen then says that they came to "an understanding", smiling.

- In some shots, Charmcaster's eyes are blue.
- The establishing shot of Mr. Smoothy has Gwen and Sandra both holding smoothies, but in later shots, Sandra's smoothie disappears.
- When Charmcaster conjures the Staff of Ages, it is much smaller than normal.
- Before Ben transforms into Big Chill, Big Chill's hologram is not shown on the Ultimatrix.
- When Ultimate Big Chill lands in front of Vulkanus, the lower half of Vulkanus' body is missing.
