Harangue Nation was an American news station hosted by anchorman Will Harangue, known for its smear campaign against Ben Tennyson.
History[]
Background[]
Harangue Nation existed at least five years prior to the events of Omniverse, where Will Harangue was seen reporting on the exploits of Kane North.[1]
Ultimate Alien[]
Harangue Nation first appeared in Fame, with a news report that revealed Ben Tennyson's identity after it was discovered by Jimmy Jones. Throughout Ultimate Alien, having masked Ben as a menace, the news station was often seen making him seem more dangerous than he was through editing and fabricated scenarios created by both Will and Captain Nemesis.
In Eye of the Beholder, there was a report on Ben's fight with Forever Knights.
In The Mother of All Vreedles, there was a report on the meteor.
Harangue Nation was disapproving of the Flame Keepers' Circle while they were active.[MW 1]
Omniverse[]
At some unspecified point prior to The Frogs of War: Part 1, Harangue Nation was cancelled before eventually being replaced by The Harrangue Show.

- Harangue Nation is a spoof of pundit-lead news programming, particularly Steven Colbert's The Colbert Report (aka The Colbert Nation).
- The show also parodies elements similar to those seen in various Fox News programs.
- The way Harangue Nation slanders Ben by Harangue branding him a "menace" takes inspiration from the Daily Bugle from Marvel Comics, which J. Jonah Jameson do the same thing with Spider-Man. The biggest difference is that Harangue Nation's smear campaign against Ben started after his identity was revealed to the world.
