Gar is a bulky and muscular Tetramand. He has a full horn on the left side of his helmet and a broken one on the right. He is much bigger than the average Tetramand. He is blind out of his lower-left eye, which is covered with an eye-patch. He is missing his left lower arm and has a scar on his upper left arm. He wears black pants and black fingerless gloves. He has a golden shoulder pad on his upper left arm and golden arm shields on his hands. Under his knee, he has golden leggings. He has a white fur cape which comes out from a black-orange badge with golden cover on his torso. His gloves’ cuffs are made of the same white fur. He has dark olive bandages on his waist.
According to himself, he is not a violent man, but he would do anything to protect his daughter. He shed a tear when Looma was fighting Ben and said that this is how he and her mother met. As soon as Ben defeated Looma he accepted him as his son-in-law. As it was revealed in OTTO Motives, Gar is no longer angry towards Kevin and was actually pleased enough to see him, even going so far as to hug him. He, just like many others, considers Ben the greatest hero of the universe.
He first appeared in Many Happy Returns, where he came to Earth and told Kevin either to come with him or Earth would perish. He set up the preparations of the wedding with the help of his personal fleet. After a long battle between Ben and Looma, Ben eventually won. He told him that the engagement clock restarts and they will be back in three of Ben’s years. At the end of the episode he, Looma and his fleet left Earth.
He returned in OTTO Motives, when a criminal named Otto attacked the customers at the Khoros Car Show which was hosted by him. After the guards took Otto to custody, he reunited with Kevin, Rook and Argit and told them that they would be his honored guests for the rest of the show. However, Otto stole his personal car collection soon after he got locked up. Otto was defeated by Ben, and on his advice Gar gave Kevin his car made of Taydenite.
