Galvanic Mechamorphs,[2][3] sometimes shortened as Mechamorphs,[1] are a technological alien species accidentally created by the Galvans from Galvan Prime's moon, Galvan B.
Appearance[]
Galvanic Mechamorphs are a techno-organic species with a gel-like body composed of a nano-technological fluid metal substance. They have a purple color scheme and have one cyclopean eye in the center of their face. Their bodies are covered entirely in a circuitry pattern that can vary from Mechamorph to Mechamorph. They can be slim, fat or muscular.
Galvanic Mechamorphs can come in a variety of other forms as well, some of them resembling animals, humans, and some appearing as trees and other plants.
History[]
The Galvanic Mechamorphs were first brought to life as a complete accident. Galvan B was originally an uninhabited moon, orbiting Galvan Prime. Galvan scientists, lead by Azmuth, were originally working on a project to make Galvan B habitable, but it went farther than intended when a sentient new species came to life. It didn’t take long before the first Galvanic Mechamorphs came to join the galactic community and meet their creators in person. Azmuth and the Galvan were surprised by the unexpected result of their experiment on Galvan B. With their help, they built a great civilization within days.
Powers and Abilities[]

Galvanic Mechamorphs are not completely solid, as they can alternate between the forms of liquid and gelatinous beings. Due to this, they can reshape themselves to let projectiles or blows pass through them by creating hole in their bodies at will.
Galvanic Mechamorphs can use their internal nanotechnology to merge with and possess any technology by encasing themselves over it. The size of the device is not significant and they control it as naturally as they would their own bodies. Whenever they merge with technology, they upgrade it into something far more advanced and futuristic, causing new features to form on it.
Technology does not seem to be the only thing Upgrade is able to merge and enhance with, as he once merged with a suit of armor[4] and a skateboard.[5]
Galvanic Mechamorphs can also mimic technology, having a vast library of schematics to draw upon.[6][1][DR 1]
Possessing technology allows Galvanic Mechamorphs to transform it with seemingly no limit, such as when Upgrade merged with the Rustbucket and turned it into a space ship. The moment they unmerged with technology, it will return to normal.[7]
Galvanic Mechamorphs are capable of making certain technology they possesses explode. Due to being made of living metal, they are able to regenerate themselves.[8]
Galvanic Mechamorphs can make their heads or faces appear anywhere on the machines they possess.
Galvanic Mechamorphs are capable of jumping exceptionally high.
Galvanic Mechamorphs possess enhanced reflexes and flexibility, allowing them to dodge attacks with little effort.
When merged with machinery, a Galvanic Mechamorph's strength is increased, making them strong enough to overpower and toss opponents.
Being inorganic, Galvanic Mechamorphs are able to survive in the vacuum of space.[1]
Galvanic Mechamorphs have the ability to manipulate the environment of Galvan B. Rumor has it that by merging all together, they can reform Galvan B if it is destroyed.[1]
Galvanic Mechamorphs can terraform a planet's terrain to their own liking, as demonstrated by AntiVilgax.[9]
Weaknesses[]
While Galvanic Mechamorphs are masters of the mechanical, their merging powers are useless on organic creatures, with the few exceptions being those who already have technology integrated into their organic systems.
Being living metal, Galvanic Mechamorphs are vulnerable to electricity, such as that generated by a Fulmini[10] and even lightning.[11]
As toddlers, Galvanic Mechamorphs cannot completely merge with technology. However, they could if they were stretched long enough.[12]
Galvanic Mechamorphs can sustain damage from attacks on whatever object or technology they are merged with.[13]
Galvanic Mechamorphs are weak against fire.[14]
A Galvanic Mechamorph's technological possession can accidentally cause an enhancement overload, as shown when Bootleg accidentally gave Xingo a power-up by mistake whilst being merged with a TV.[15]
