Frightwig is a villain and a part of the Circus Freak Trio. She is known for her cybernetic tentacles on her head,[2] resembling hair.
Appearance
Frightwig has pale skin and black paint on her cheeks and the back of her head. She wears a black tight-fitting jumpsuit with yellow stripes on the arms. She has multiple long cybernetic red tentacles fixed on her head. She has bluish-violet eyes. She also wears a pair of black shoes.
In her debut, Frightwig wore a one-piece swimsuit with a central strap similar to her main jumpsuit. The outfit had yellow patches on the sides of her abdomen, and she wore a yellow swim cap (with a red cat face) that covered her hair until Gwen removed it following her ruse's reveal. She also lacked the black patches on her face.
Personality
Frightwig is quite aggressive and jerkish. She is also quite smart, as she wanted science supplies like a soldering iron in Vote Zombozo.
History
Ben 10
Frightwig and Ben have already faced each other many times in the past, developing a rivalry due to Frightwig's increasing frustration at Ben thwarting her plans.
Frightwig first appeared in All Wet, where she continuously attempts to sabotage the water park. She befriends Gwen while disguised as "Frieda" in an attempt to distract her and Ben from her plan, which soon worked when Ben is blamed by the park staff and Gwen. But since Ben was onto her from the beginning, and Gwen witnesses her hair emerging from her swim cap, they thwart her plan and shoot her out of the park with a burst of water pressure from the pipes.
At some point later, Frightwig began working for Zombozo, as part of the Circus Freak Trio.
In Zombozo-Land, she reappeared with the other members of the Circus Freak Trio at Adrena-World, where she and the others helped Zombozo with his plan to enslave the world with his Hypno-Tower.
In Vote Zombozo, she, alongside the Circus Freak trio, robbed a bank while Zombozo hypnotized the citizens of Sleepytown. She was later convinced by Four Arms to stop robbing the bank. She and the rest of the trio quits.
In Speechless on the Seine, Frightwig, Acid Breath and Thumbskull return to work for Zombozo and steal priceless relics from the museums of Paris and replace them with versions "improved" by the clown, however, when Ben discovers their plan, Zombozo hypnotizes him to leave him mute and unable to ask for help.
In Cirque Us, Zombozo and his troupe infiltrate the award ceremony for the best former student at the State College to hypnotize the audience and rob them.
In Party Poopers, Zombozo is discouraged that all his attempted crimes over the summer have gone wrong, and decides to leave crime and become a party clown at an arcade. MortranƧa goes to the clown's new place of work to try to convince him to return to illegality, as she and the rest of the gang need Zombozo during the robberies as a decoy so they can escape peacefully with the money. The girl insists so much that the clown can't resist and goes back to how he was before, so he hypnotizes the children in the arcade. Upon seeing that Gwen and Ben were at the arcade, Frightwig tried to stop Zombozo from seeing them, because if he saw them, he would try to confront them and fail, which would make him unhappy again.
Powers and Abilities
Frightwig has long cybernetic hair that can be used to hit, wrap up, lift, and defeat enemies. Her hair has black orbs on the tips for greater concussive damage. She is able to make her her grow longer or shorter if needed, and she can also use her hair to walk around.[3]
Frightwig is able to wrap herself into a sphere using her hair that she can use to roll into enemies.[3]
Frightwig is shown to have a high degree of intelligence, with Acid Breath stating that she "likes science".[2]
Weaknesses
Frightwig's hair can be burnt by fire.[1] If her hair gets wet, it will temporarily be frizzy. If her hair gets too soaked she won't be able to move it.[1] Foreign objects or her own locks can get ensnared together using adhesives, rendering her vulnerable to attacks and hindering her movements.[3]
Frightwig can accidentally tie herself up if she tries to whip her hair at an opponent and misses. If the ends are grabbed and pulled, she can be pulled along with them.[1]
Frightwig's hair can't hold on to Ekoplektoids if the latter duplicates enough times.[3]

Trivia
- Frightwig is notably younger than her Classic Continuity counterpart. Her tentacle hair is also technological rather than biological like that of her Classic version.
