– Four Arms to Trombipulor.[1] |
Four Arms (alternatively spelled as Fourarms)[2] is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Tetramand[3][4] from the planet Khoros.[merch 1]
Appearance[]
Ben as Four Arms[]
Four Arms is a humanoid alien that is ten feet tall.[merch 2][note 1] He has well-developed muscles, two pairs of four-fingered arms, and red skin. A black stripe goes from his chin to his lower lip, and he has four eyes: a main pair and a smaller pair below them, while he lacks ears or nose. He has whisker-like spikes on each forearm and black pants with a strap on each foot that reveals his two toes and the back of each foot.
In the Original Series, Four Arms wore a white T-shirt with a black line going down it and black pants and fingerless gloves. He wore the original Omnitrix symbol on his upper left shoulder. His eyes were orange-yellow, and he had no hair.
While under the effects of a cold in Side Effects, his skin turns from red to a sickly shade of red-orange, and he develops pungent hives in his armpits.
In Game Over, while inside Sumo Slammers Smackdown, Four Arms wore brown shoulder pads and knee pads, grey armor under his shoulder pads as well as black pants. He wore the Omnitrix symbol on a hat on top of his head.
In Don't Drink the Water, 4-year-old Four Arms was slimmer than his 10-year-old self and had a bigger head and eyes.
In Destroy All Aliens, Four Arms remained the same except he had pale red fingernails, and his clothing had some type of fabric on the black stripe.
In Ultimate Alien, 16-year-old Four Arms wore gold wrist and ankle bands, a pair of black underwear that has a gold waistband, and two golden sashes that went across his chest. His eyes were recolored green, he had a black ponytail, and he wore the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.
In The Forge of Creation, 10-year-old Four Arms looks exactly the same as in the Original Series except the Omnitrix symbol was recolored green.
In Heroes United, Four Arms, in addition to his clothes in Ultimate Alien, wore pants and fingerless gloves and had tattoo-like stripes on his body, making him look somewhat similar to his Original Series design.
In Omniverse, 11-year-old Four Arms looks the same as his 10-year-old self in Ultimate Alien, except his eyes are recolored green, his skin is a lighter tone, and he has a second set of pectorals for his other set of arms.
16-year-old Four Arms has three short spikes on the top of his head, a mustache-like design, the black stripe on the top of his head is replaced with small spikes and the same second set of pectorals as his 11-year-old self. He has no hair and wears a black tank top-like shirt with one large green stripe in the middle, black pants, a green and white belt where the Omnitrix symbol is located, and black fingerless gloves with green cuffs at the wrists.
Kevin as Four Arms[]
Kevin's Four Arms looked the same as Ben's did in the Original Series, but with paler skin and no Omnitrix symbol.
Gwen as Four Arms[]
Four Arms had darker skin, hair and clothes based on Gwen's, and lacked the vertical black stripe sported by Ben's version. Just like Ben, Gwen's Four Arms wore the Omnitrix symbol on her upper left shoulder.
Ben 10,000 as Four Arms[]
Ben 10,000's Four Arms had a better-developed forehead, more muscle mass, a different T-shirt design and a pair of jutting incisors. He wore the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
Powers and Abilities[]
“ | Need an extra hand? I got four! | ” |
– Four Arms.[5] |
Four Arms' most prominent ability is his enhanced strength, being able to lift several times his own weight and punch through various resilient materials with ease. Since Four Arms is one of Ben's strongest aliens in the Original Series, he relied on him the most when fighting large and powerful foes. Technically speaking, Four Arms is physically stronger than Methanosians and Vaxasaurians at base size.[DM 1]
Four Arms' strength allows him to use anything heavy as a weapon, from big rocks he can throw several feet away, to metal beams and pillars that can be used as clubs. His great strength even extends to his jaws, allowing him to bite metal and damage it.[6]
The older Four Arms grows, the stronger he becomes.[7] By age 16, Four Arms has become strong to the point where he was able to overpower Looma Red Wind, the princess of Khoros, despite female Tetramands being generally stronger than their male counterparts.[8][9]
By slamming his fists on the ground, Four Arms can create shock waves[10] and cause pillars of rock to erupt.[11] He can also make strong shock waves by clapping all four of his hands together,[12][11][13] a move nicknamed the Big Smack.[merch 3] Ben learned this ability from Tini.[pop-up 1][12][merch 4]
Four Arms has a high level of enhanced durability due to his tough and thorny skin,[pop-up 2][12] being able to casually take missiles from a Mechadroid[14] and a slash to the chest from Malware while barely feeling any pain.[15] In correlation to his durable skin, Four Arms is highly resistant to fire and intense heat, such as that generated by a Pyronite.[16]
Four Arms can jump several times his own height, at least seven stories up, in a single bound.[17][10][1]
Four Arms has enhanced reflexes, as he was able to catch and redirect missiles[4] in a single motion.[18]
Four Arms is immune to extremely cold temperatures, demonstrated when he fought Dr. Animo's yeti on top of a snowy mountain,[19] and when he was able to survive on Mikd'lty.[20]
Four Arms is also resistant to strong winds, such as those generated by a Geochelone Aerios, as shown with Looma.[21]
Four Arms can climb up walls by pushing his fingers into them to make hand holds.[22]
When infected with a cold, Four Arms can sneeze out sprays of slimy snot from his mouth, and although disgusting, this can be useful against insects.[23]
Weaknesses[]
Four Arms' bulk can sometimes become a disadvantage, as his immense size makes him an easy target for enemy attacks. Four Arms' size can make moving through areas designed for small species, like the Rust Buckets 1[24] and 2,[25] difficult.
Four Arms can feel tremendous pain from electricity, such as that generated by Galvanic Mechamorphs[26] and Gimlinopithecus.[13][9]
Four Arms can become drowsy from sedative quills.[27]
Four Arms can be trapped in bandages generated by Thep Khufans, as demonstrated by Looma.[28]
If under the effects of a cold, Four Arms' strength and stamina are severely reduced.[23]
History[]

Four Arms threatened to punch the defenseless Kevin, but abandoned him, saying that he had already defeated him and that he was wasn't worth it. Four Arms saved Steel, agreeing to leave him alone before jumping away.

Trivia[]
- Four Arms is the first alien used by 11-year-old Ben in Omniverse.
- Four Arms was initially planned to be one of the playable aliens in the Game Creator, but was soon removed from the game entirely when Alien Force aired.
- Four Arms is one of Ken's favorite aliens.[26]
- In Goodbye and Good Riddance, a kid at Ben's school called Four Arms "Quad Hands" until Ben corrected him, similar to how Jimmy thought Jetray's name was "Jeffrey" until he was corrected by Ben in Fame.
- Four Arms needs twice as much deodorant as a human.[AC 1]
- Four Arms' transformation sequence was the first one to be designed.[AC 1]
- Four Arms was first envisioned as a superhero named StrongGuy. Dave Johnson designed Four Arms for the Original Series, which became the first design to get greenlit on the show.[DJ 1]
- The design that was greenlit had few changes from Dave's original sketch,[DJ 1] the most important one being that he had to make the secondary arms smaller than the primary arms so that they would not jut out.[DJ 2]
- Dave noted that he did not take inspiration from pre-existing characters when drawing Four Arms.[DJ 2]
- During Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, Dwayne McDuffie and Glen Murakami sometimes gave suggestions to the writers on which aliens Ben should use in each episode, to prevent Humungousaur and Four Arms from appearing too frequently.[DM 2]
- In the pre-production stage of Omniverse, Four Arms originally had a pair of jutting incisors, a different outfit equipped with shoulder pads and the Omnitrix symbol on his chest, as seen in Derrick J. Wyatt's roughs.[DJW 1] Someone else made the final model based on them.[DJW 2]
- Four Arms is Dave's favorite alien because he was the first one to get approved for the Original Series.[DJ 3]
- Richard McGonagle considers Four Arms to be his toughest cartoon role, stating that he sounds like he had just gargled glass.[AC 2]
- Nolan North auditioned to voice Four Arms in the Original Series but lost the role to Richard.
