Buzzshock is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Nosedeenian[note 1] from the Nosideen Quasar.[pop-up 1][1]
Appearance[]
Ben 10,000 as Buzzshock[]
Buzzshock's appearance is similar to an Earth dry cell battery, albeit rounded out. He is black with green eyes, a large lightning bolt-like stripe spanning from his neck starts to his waist on his front and back sides, and positive (+) and negative (-) symbols on his back.
In the Original Series, Buzzshock's lightning bolt stripe was white, he had a hole on his head that could release electricity. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
Ben as Buzzshock[]
In Ultimate Alien, Buzzshock looked mostly the same as he did in the Original Series, except the hole on his head was filled in with a flat grey spot and his Ultimatrix symbol was recolored green.
In Omniverse, Buzzshock has two bolts on each arm, the lightning bolt stripe is recolored green, and the top of his head features a proper battery cap, colored light green. His head is now more prominent, as his chin actually sticks out rather than being a part of a long, one-piece body, and his eyes are now almond-shaped instead of being circular. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on the top of his head cap.
Ken as Buzzshock[]
Ken's Buzzshock looked the same as Ben 10,000's Buzzshock in the Original Series.
Bad Ben as Bad Buzzshock[]
Bad Ben as Buzzshock looks identical to Ben Prime's Buzzshock in Omniverse, save for all the green parts being recolored mint green.
Personality[]
Like all Nosedeenians, Buzzshock is prone to mischievousness or amusement. He always laughs whenever he moves around or fights.[3]
Powers and Abilities[]
Buzzshock is like a living battery, able to store and release massive amounts of electricity within his body. The amount stored corresponds with his vitality; he gets energetic and hyper when full of electricity[4][5][3] and sleepy when deprived of it.[6]
Buzzshock can both project the electricity stored inside his body outward and absorb external electricity inward, primarily by using his hands.[1] He also has electrokinesis, and is able to control any electricity around him, allowing him to draw in electricity from far away or link himself to other Nosedeenians.[4] He can absorb all the energy from a city block in a matter of seconds,[6] and as a result of absorbing, his electric attacks become more powerful.[7]
Not only is Buzzshock immune to electricity,[3] he can convert parts of his body or his entire body into pure electricity, and travel across certain things, such as phone lines and pipes.[4][7]
Buzzshock can naturally fly and levitate, and can also do so by turning his entire body or parts of it into electricity.[8][3]
If Buzzshock absorbs enough energy, he can duplicate himself one or many times, as demonstrated by other Nosedeenians.[4][6][MW 1] He can also duplicate if he is forcibly bisected, in which his two parts will grow into two whole Nosedeenians.[4]
Buzzshock is surprisingly strong for his size, as a Nosedeenian was able to lift an adult human several feet above the ground by their underwear.[4]
Buzzshock has enhanced reflexes, as shown when he quickly reacted and jumped over Phil's hand when he attacked him.[7]
Buzzshock can inhabit electrical devices, controlling them from the inside, and in some cases powering them. However, he can also cause electrical technology to malfunction and fry when he passes through them. He can animate and possess electrical machines as a result.[4]
Buzzshock can emit a sonic scream capable of shattering glass, as demonstrated by other Nosedeenians.[4]
Due to his species living in a Quasar rather than a planet, it is implied that Buzzshock can survive in the vacuum of space.
Weaknesses[]
Buzzshock can be insulated with rubber-sheeted blankets, as demonstrated with other Nosedeenians.[6]
Buzzshock can be trapped in something made of a non-conductive material, such as glass, as demonstrated with other Nosedeenians.[4]
Buzzshock's energy can be absorbed by a species such as Conductoids, as demonstrated with other Nosedeenians.[6] If Buzzshock runs out of energy, he will be unable to stay awake.[6]
Buzzshock's small size can be a disadvantage against a bigger, stronger opponent like Phil.[7]

Notes[]
- ↑ The Nosedeenian name comes from Nosedeen Quasar, which is a misspelling of the word Nosideen Quasar, the home place for the species as revealed in pop-up trivia for the Original Series episode Ben 10,000.[pop-up 1][1] On October 18, 2009 the Nosedeen Quasar page was created by the user The Ultimate Necrofriggian, with the spelling error being neglected for years. Eventually, the Omniverse episode A Jolt From the Past would refer to the species as Nosedeenians, thereby canonizing the name with a misspelling.[2]
