Juryrigg is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Planchaküle from the planet Aul-Turrhen.[merch 1]
Appearance[]
Juryrigg is a small Gremlin-like alien with four-fingered hands, three-toed feet, and a devil-like tail. He is small in stature, only about as big as a human head.
In Ultimate Alien, Juryrigg had reddish-orange skin and wore the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.
In Omniverse, Juryrigg's skin is much smoother and recolored crimson-red. He now wears an aviator's outfit which comes with an ascot. His eyes now have black pupils, his ears are now spiked, his sharp teeth jut out of his mouth, and his nose is bigger. He also has a spike on his chin and one near each of his eyes. The Omnitrix symbol is now on his waist.
Personality[]
Juryrigg has a strong desire to break and remake machines, making him difficult to control.
Juryrigg has a mischievous (and twisted) sense of humor, as seen when he turned Will Harangue into an alien as punishment for all the smear campaigns and crimes he committed against Ben and other aliens.[1]
Juryrigg has several catchphrases, such as "Juryrigg disassemble!", "FIX FIX FIX FIX FIX!", and "Reassemble, disassemble!"

Juryrigg boasts an impressive intellect,[MW 1] describing himself as "smart and stubborn".[1]
Juryrigg has the ability to completely disassemble any kind of machinery, including Rex Salazar's builds,[DJW 1] in mere seconds. Juryrigg can also construct complex machinery from scratch at a similar rate.[3]
In addition to disassembling machinery, Juryrigg can modify machines after disassembling them.[4][5] Juryrigg is also able to repair technology.[2][6][7]
Juryrigg can dismantle and rebuild living mechanical species such as Chronosapiens.[DJW 2]
Juryrigg has enhanced strength for his size, being able to break some metal bars that even an Appoplexian could not break.[8]
Juryrigg has a degree of enhanced durability, as he was able to withstand being thrown against a destroyed food truck by a Rock Monster.[4]
Juryrigg's tail is prehensile.[DJW 3]

History[]
Ultimate Alien[]
- Juryrigg first appeared in The Eggman Cometh, where he began taking apart the brakes in Kevin's car. Later, Juryrigg dismantled Dr. Animo's mutant ray, but soon had to repair and modify it in order to stop the pterodactyl from wreaking havoc on Bellwood.
- In The Ultimate Enemy: Part 1, Juryrigg prepared to battle Vilgax and Psyphon before Dagon freed himself.
- In The Ultimate Enemy: Part 2, Juryrigg briefly appeared before reverting.
Omniverse[]
- In Have I Got a Deal for You, Juryrigg briefly appeared before switching into Grey Matter as part of an accidental transformation chain.
- In Gone Fishin', Juryrigg defeated the Mechaneers.
- In Rules of Engagement, Juryrigg fixed up parts of the Proto-TRUK and created the Tenn-Speed.
- In Food Around the Corner, Juryrigg tore through a door and fixed the security system.
- In Return to Forever, Juryrigg disabled the Highbreed Pulse Generator before it could destroy every alien on Earth, and reprogrammed the machine to instead turn Will Harangue into an alien.
- In Mystery, Incorporeal, Juryrigg was defeated by a Rock Monster.
- In It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Ben World: Part 1, Juryrigg was defeated by Mad Diamondhead.

Etymology[]
Juryrigg's name comes from the term "jury rig", which means to makeshift repairs or temporary contrivances, made with only the tools and materials that happen to be on hand.
Trivia[]
- Juryrigg, Grey Matter, and Feedback are the only aliens with their own theme song.
- Friedkin University's mascot bears a resemblance to Juryrigg.[4]
- When creating concept art of Juryrigg's appearance in Ultimate Alien, Derrick J. Wyatt was told he was a demon, rather than a gremlin.[DJW 4]
- As with the other regular aliens introduced in Season 3 of Ultimate Alien, Juryrigg was created at the request of the studio. Several artists were asked to draw rough concepts without being given direction or powers, as the studio did not want them feeling handcuffed for ideas. What was turned in is what springboarded the idea for the final designs. After Derrick turned in his demon concept, Glen Murakami liked the design and tried to figure out powers to match. Then, the writers and designers had brainstorming sessions until the final powers and designs were reached.[TJC 1]
