Heatblast is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Pyronite from the star Pyros.
Appearance[]
Ben as Heatblast[]
Heatblast is a humanoid alien whose body is composed of a bright yellow inner magma body covered by red rocks. His feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes as the fire on his head takes the form of a dome, which leaves his face visible with no ears, nose or neck. Heatblast wears the Omnitrix symbol on his collarbone.
In Xingo and Xingo's World, Heatblast has a more cartoony physique and a slightly altered pattern of his inner magma body.
In Big Ben 10, Heatblast was as tall as a building due to being hit by Maurice's ray gun.
In Innervasion Part 3: Strange Bedfellows, the Omnitrix symbol was absent from Heatblast due to being used inside the Omnitrix.
In De-Fanged!, Heatblast's body was a purplish shade of red and the flames on his head was pointed upwards like a mohawk. His feet were also redesigned.
Ben 10,000 as Heatblast[]
Ben 10,000's Heatblast looks similar to his younger self's except he has two miniature volcanoes on his shoulders, a more muscular build, a different head shape, a larger flame, and darker colored rocks. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
Original Series Ben as Heatblast[]
Original Series Ben's Heatblast looks radically different from Ben's Heatblast. The rocks covering his body are colored similarly to Ben 10,000's Heatblast and his feet have an additional toe on the backside. The original Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
Powers and Abilities[]
Heatblast has the ability to generate and manipulate solar heat and fire from his body. He can form fire into any shape that he chooses, commonly fireballs. He can enhance the fire in his hands for flaming punches and increase the temperature to cause pain to his enemies.
Heatblast can breathe fire like a dragon,[2] which can sometimes come in the form of flaming burps.[3]
Since he is made of magma and rock, Heatblast is fireproof, heat resistant, and invulnerable to magma. He is also cold resistant and ice proof thanks to the heat he produces.
Heatblast has enhanced durability, being to survive being thrown through multiple buildings at high speed with no damage.
Despite lacking visible ears, Heatblast is able to withstand powerful vibrations generated by enemies like Lord Decibel, as he can hear Gwen from afar perfectly.
Heatblast is capable of high-speed flight by propelling himself forward.[4] As he ages, his flight becomes more natural, as he can ignite himself into a fireball and direct heatwaves away from his body.[5]
Heatblast possesses enhanced strength, being able to knock out Lord Decibel with a single punch.[6]
Heatblast can shoot a calorific fire in a form of lasers with his two hands. [7]
Heatblast temporarily got cartoon physiology due to a lightning striking at the Omnitrix. This allows him to disconnect his flaming head with no injury, create objects like a frying pan and train out of fire in a cartoon fashion.[8]
Heatblast can swim and use his powers underwater, but with a very low intensity. Ironically, he can survive being underwater despite being a fire-based alien.[9][10]
Heatblast can create a fire tornado around himself, as demonstrated by AntiVilgax.[11]
Heatblast is capable of absorbing fire, even blue fire.[DR 1]
The light and heat of the molten core in Heatblast's body are more intense than his normal fire, allowing him to illuminate in the shadows in a candle-like manner.[12]
Heatblast can infuse his fire with other beings, such as a Petrosapien, to empower them.[5]
Weaknesses[]
If exposed to enough water or fire extinguishing substance, Heatblast's fire will be extinguished, though he can still heat up and reignite his fire in short amounts of time.[9]
Heatblast can lose his fire out of exhaustion.[13]
Because of his flaming head, Heatblast cannot wear anything on his head without melting them, as shown when he was wearing sunglasses.[14]
Because of his fiery body, he cannot hold anything that is not fireproof without burning them.
Heatblast is weak against magic, as demonstrated with Hot Shot.[15]
Heatblast can be easily blinded by a Lepidopterran's slime should it get all over his face, as also demonstrated with Hot Shot.[15]
Heatblast's flames can cause collateral damage if not taken seriously.
Heatblast cannot breathe in space.[DR 2]

- Heatblast first appeared in Waterfilter, where he battled the Hydromanders, but was defeated.
- In Take 10, Heatblast tried to stop the Bug Gang from robbing a bank but accidentally allowed them to go free due to being distracted.
- In Ben 24hrs, Heatblast appeared in a daydream.
- In Rustbucket RIP, Heatblast destroyed Billy Billions' limbo.
- In Villain Time, Heatblast competed against Tim Buktu.
- In Don't Let the Bass Drop, Heatblast defeated Lord Decibel.
- In Riding the Storm Out, Heatblast tried to light a campfire but timed out before he could do so.
- In Brief Career of Lucky Girl, Heatblast battled a monster.
- In Shhh!, Heatblast attempted to make Gwen make noise and accidentally woke up the Docile Dragon.

- In You Remind Me of Someone, an amnesic Heatblast incapacitated Kevin before inadvertently starting a forest fire and battled Undertow until he was distracted by and chased the Forgeti.
- In Adrenaland Jr., Heatblast fought Undertow until they both timed out.
- In I Don't Like You, Heatblast used his powers in order to impress the judges, then later sabotaged Hot Shot's entry to give himself a higher score, thus allowing him to win the second round.
- In Gentle Ben, Heatblast calmed down the baby moth, but timed out before he could lure it back into its cave.
- In Funhouse, Heatblast tried to oppose his fears before being silenced. He later went Omni-Kix to battle Zombozo.
- In Tokyo Fun, Part 1: Big Bugg Bash, Heatblast went Omni-Kix to battle Sydney.
- In Falls, Falls, Falls, Heatblast battled Steam Smythe and his Mechanoids.
- In Mud on the Run, Heatblast participated in a mud run by solidifying a river of mud.

- In Ben 10,010, Ben 10,000 as Heatblast teamed up with Diamondhead to battle the Xerge.
- In Ben Gen 10, Heatblast defeated Hex and his animated tree monsters.
- Also, Heatblast appeared as one of the many alien templates used for Hex's army.
- In Alien X-Tinction, Heatblast appeared four times. Firstly, Ben as Heatblast attacked Alien X only to be quickly defeated. Later, Original Series Ben as Heatblast destroyed some raining boulders. Lastly, both Ben and Original Series Ben as Heatblast teamed up with Team Tennyson and company to defeat Alien X, during which the latter removed the stolen alternate Omnitrix on the left side of his chest.

Heatblast is a playable alien in the game.
Heatblast is used in the opening cutscene, where he performs his Ultimate Ability for the first time, accidentally burning the tent Grandpa Max had recently purchased.
Heatblast, along with Four Arms and Cannonbolt are the only aliens available on Ben's arsenal at the beginning of the game.
Heatblast is able to use the light radiating from his fiery body to illuminate dark areas. Heatblast will also leave scorch mark footprints everywhere he walks.
Heatblast's Ultimate Ability consists of him jumping in the air, conjuring a massive fireball, then hurling it towards enemies.
Heatblast is vital for progression on the The Funhouse level of the game.

- Heatblast is the only regular alien featured in the reboot to have all of the additional forms (Omni-Enhanced, Omni-Kix, and Omni-Naut).
- Heatblast is one of the five aliens who remained in the active playlist in all five seasons in the Reboot, the other four being Four Arms, Diamondhead, XLR8, and Cannonbolt.
- Heatblast is Steven T. Seagle's[AC 1] and Tara Strong's[AC 2] favorite alien.
- Original Series Heatblast's design is a stylized version of his Classic counterpart's appearance in the original series. Likewise, Future Heatblast's design resembles a stylized version of his original future counterpart from the same show.
- Heatblast, Diamondhead, Rath, and Four Arms are the only aliens that appeared in each season 5 special. Of those aliens, only Heatblast and Four Arms appear in two specials as present-day Ben's aliens.
- In many of his appearances, Heatblast is seen touching people without burning them, even shown fist bumping Gwen without burning her fist. Either these could be continuity errors or Ben has trained himself to control Heatblast's body temperature occasionally.
- Steve Blum was not asked to reprise his role as Original Series Heatblast.[SB 1]
