The Electric Cannon is a Plumber gun that was used by Max Tennyson to fight Vilgax.
Appearance[]
The Electric Cannon is a large navy blue-and-grey metallic gun, with a single barrel and a power source below. It consists of a blue glass canister, as well as some handles and other components.
The cannon is so large that in order for one person to wield it, they must wear a harness to keep it against their chest, hold it by its handles with both hands, and wear a special visor on their head that is attached to the cannon.
Functions[]
The Electric Cannon can charge up a large amount of electricity in its power source canister, so much so that it brightly illuminates anything surrounding it.[1] Once it is charged, a button on the handles can be pressed to fire the weapon, shooting an incredibly powerful shot of energy that can subdue and push back even the toughest and most durable of beings, such as Vilgax.[2][3]
The cannon can be programmed to lock on to a being's DNA signature.[1]

Digital display
The visor that the user wears shows them a digital display of what's in front of them, eliminating the cannon from their view, and includes a reticle and readings such as distance measurements.[1][2] It also (assumedly) shields the user's eyes from the bright light the cannon emits when it charges up.
The large thick piece at the end of the barrel is only a muzzle and does not severely affect the output of the weapon, as it was chopped off by Vilgax in Gwen 10, but the gun could still function.[2]
History[]
Ben 10[]
In Secrets, Max retrieved the Electric Cannon from the Mt. Rushmore Plumber base, as it would be the "special help" that could stop Vilgax. Before Vilgax could remove the Omnitrix with his energy sword, Max drove onto his ship and burst into the room, cannon at the ready. He told Vilgax to keep his claws off Ben and fired the cannon, sending him through a door. Thinking him incapacitated, Max left the cannon on the floor in order to help Ben break free from his prison.
After Vilgax fought Ben and took him back to the ship, he was aghast to learn that Max had initiated the ship's self-destruct sequence and bailed. While Vilgax's back was turned, Ben used the opportunity to shoot him with the cannon, preventing his escape and allowing his own.
Future[]
In Ben 10,000, Vilgax swatted Cannonbolt away, but Max arrived just in time and blasted Vilgax with the cannon, which sent Vilgax flying.
What-If?[]
In Gwen 10, Max similarly obtained the cannon from Mt. Rushmore; bursted onto Vilgax's ship; and pointed it at him, telling him to keep his claws off Gwen instead. However, Vilgax was able to dodge the shot and engage Max before he could charge up another one. He used his energy sword to slice off the muzzle and then started fighting the unarmed Max. After Ben freed Gwen from her prison, he picked up the cannon while Vilgax was busy hurting Max, and was able to blast him away. He was amazed and asked Max if he could "have one of these".
After the Omnitrix attached to Max's wrist and Ben organized a plan to have him upgrade the Rustbucket as Upgrade, they rammed into Vilgax and drove him off the flying ship. Upgrade tossed Vilgax in the air, while Ben emerged from a compartment on top of the RV, cannon in hand. He fired a final shot that blasted Vilgax back into his ship.
